"Dissatisfied Review for Recently Changed Assisted Living Facility"
This place recently changed in 6/2022 and only has the most basic license available. They offer in-home nursing through a home health care provider, but my experience with them was terrible. I wonder if the New York owners, whose names I've left out, have any vulnerable family members. Their website falsely boasts over 20 years of operation, but according to Florida records, it's been just over 4 years. Changes at Lady Lake have included laying off important, knowledgeable staff and assigning a director, name omitted, who is inexperienced in this field. He might be friendly, but he's not very good at his job. I hope the owners will revert their changes, obtain the appropriate license, and find a job elsewhere for the current director that better suits his skills. The residents and their families deserve more. The rules of Atlantis can't be found as of now, which is 2 months after the change in management. Trying to get information only heightens aggravation, since clear communication isn't apparently important here.

"Pricey and Hospital-Like: Nice Staff, But Not Impressed"
I liked how friendly the staff were, but it was too expensive for me. Also, it felt too much like being in a hospital, which I didn't like much. So, overall, it wasn't really my thing.

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
This place didn't work for my loved one's needs. The tour was good, I saw everything and got all the info I needed from them, but it wasn't what we were looking for.

"Compact and Cozy Assisted Living"
The rooms are pleasant. There was a spacious studio available. Boxes were stacked around the community, which is smaller.

"Friendly Staff, Confusing Layout"
During our tour, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The facility had elevators and multiple stories, which might confuse Mom.

"Better Communication Needed at Atria Lady Lake"
Atria Lady Lake feels really friendly and homey. The apartments are nice, but they could improve communication with the nursing staff and families.

"Staffing and leadership problems, but still hopeful"
Right now, it is a good place overall. They are having some problems with staffing, which is worrying. I recommend asking about the staffing agencies and the support staff. The senior staff have left, and the main community manager is leaving. It feels like there's no leadership. There is also no communication between the staff and families. I hope the community will fix these issues soon.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
The community offers good value for the money, but there has been some staff turnover. Communication could improve, though it's better with the right person. Overall, I recommend this community based on my experience.

"Poor Communication and Subpar Care Marks Facility"
We were disappointed with the care our mother received at this facility. Although the staff was courteous and the environment was clean, they just couldn't meet our mother's needs. They asked us to move her to a different facility. We think their communication was really lacking and we wouldn't recommend this place to other families. It's best to ensure you have clear answers about the type of care your loved one will receive before moving them in.

"Satisfied with Mom’s Move"
My mom is still getting used to living here, but my family and I feel comfortable with her choice. My main concern was being far away from her, but knowing she’s safe and well taken care of is satisfying. The staff is great, and she enjoys the activities they offer. We compared many communities in the area, and this one stands out for its quality of life. We recommend it.

"Great overall"
My loved one has been with this building since it was Lexington Park. I appreciate the staff—they're what makes the place special, not just the name. We miss the old lead server; she brought life to the dining room and made us feel welcome. Although we're happy for her promotion, food service could use more help with serving. Thankfully, the food quality has improved a lot. The care staff is awesome, but housekeeping needs improvement—I'm always dusting my mother's blinds and windows.

"Not the same!"
The staff was super friendly and gave us a great tour, showing us around the entire community. However, I preferred it before they became Atria; the quality has declined. Their setup wasn't to my liking.

"Workers Shortage and Disorganization Impact Quality of Atria Care"
Ever since Atria started managing this place, a lot of workers have left and they haven't quickly found new ones. This means the staff that's still here is really worn out, and it's making everything a mess. The food arrives slow and sometimes it's even cold. The dishes they serve also don't always match what's listed on the menu. The same goes for the planned activities - they don't match what's actually happening. It seems like nobody knows what their tasks are. They don't use a computer to keep track of medication distribution. Despite being exhausted, the nurses here seem really caring. If you talk to the folks in charge, they'll hear you out but it doesn't look like they really do anything about your concerns. They aren't good at paying attention to the small stuff.

"Atria's Service is Unsatisfactory; Nursing Staff is Helpful"
When Atria took over, I wasn't really blown away. There have been problems with the billing department, which is annoying. My mom's apartment doesn't even have hot water and nobody I've spoken to seems able to fix it. Also, she says the food isn't great. Despite ordering certain meals, the residents don't always get what they asked for. On the bright side, it's easy to talk to the nursing staff. The front areas of the community are clean, but I think the carpets leading to the residents' rooms are starting to look worn out.
