"Struggling Staff Due to Poor Management"
The people in charge don't do a great job, so even the good workers struggle because they're not given clear instructions.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The place is alright, but it's not exactly what we were promised. I'm not too thrilled. Unsure if I'd suggest it.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
There’s a lot of construction happening right now, and the place isn’t quite as it should be. I’d give it about 3 stars, even though they’re doing their best to take care of us. We’re short on servers, which doesn’t help, but the food has improved a lot. Unfortunately, I can’t enjoy it because I’m on a low-sodium diet. Despite the limited activities due to the construction, I’m comfortable in my apartment. Overall, it’s still operating as best as it can.

"Improving Care and Comfort: Assisted Living Review"
Most of the workers are great, especially [names removed]. One time, my dad needed help fast. He pressed the emergency button, but it took a while for someone to come. We told everyone about it, and things got better. The food looks and smells awesome, though my dad is picky. They're fixing up a lot, like painting and new floors.

"Assisted Living Facility Neglects Resident, Prompting Relocation"
My mom pressed her button for help, but they left her on the floor for 24 minutes. I called the front desk, but it took them 15 minutes to send someone. I moved my mom out of there.

"Decent Stay, Good Staff, Needs Tech and Decor Updates"
My family member lives at Vitality Living Baypoint Village and things have been pretty alright. The meals are pretty good. The people who work there really pay attention and do a better job than most places like this. Some ideas to make it better: they should get faster internet and take out the old carpet.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms; Great Exercise Program"
I really like the exercise classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They're a good way to meet people and the atmosphere is pleasant. Occasionally, the kitchen staff seem a bit unhappy and they sometimes run out of certain meals. However, the overall staff are super friendly and the nurses are excellent. The rooms are always very clean, and the gazebo is lovely. I definitely think other families would like Vitality Living too.

"Happy Residents, Fresh Smells Needed"
My family member is super happy there, really loves it, and that matters to us. The staff takes amazing care of the residents, and they organize fun activities. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The only thing they could work on is keeping the hallways smelling fresh. Sometimes you catch a whiff of urine. Maybe cleaning the carpets more often would help.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The care was okay, but managing medications wasn't great. We often found dirty linens in her closet, so I did a lot of laundry. They lost some of her clothes and mixed them up with others. The food was really good, and they had fun activities for residents. The facility has spacious rooms and common areas, plus a nice outdoor patio for memory care. Overall, I'd recommend it with a few reservations.

"Emergency Delay Raises Safety Concerns"
The staff is nice. My loved one enjoys the food and joins activities. The value for the money is decent. My concern is the bathroom emergency delay when pulling the string. Safety precautions needed.

"Neglectful Check-ins, Terrible Food At Assisted Living Facility"
The main problem is that they're supposed to check on the folks that live there a couple times a day. They said they'd do it four times every day before my mom moved in. That hasn't happened even once. Some days they see my mom once, but a lot of times she goes days without anyone checking on her. I’ve told them plenty of times, but nothing changes. The food stinks, my mom can't stand it. I usually wind up bringing her food. She doesn't want to eat there, not at all. A positive though, they do have fun activities and my mom actually likes those. Also, their cleaning services are good. But overall, I wouldn’t say to go there.

"Great Staff and Community, But Some Improvements Needed"
The people here are wonderful. The workers and residents are very friendly. The staff are really nice and will help you with almost anything. They are very good people. One night, I fell and pulled the chain for help. An aide came first, then a nurse who patched me up before calling the EMTs. It was pretty quick for me, but I've heard bad stories about people in wheelchairs being left waiting for meals. They need more help and more aides. Some people have had to wait an hour for help after falling, which is not good because they could be seriously hurt. Quick response is important, especially if someone has a stroke. The meals can be hit or miss. We had a meeting called "food for thought" where we talked about dishes we didn't like. One person ordered a meal with potato salad that was not good because it had too many spices. There are many activities, but they sometimes overlap, so you have to choose which to attend. They said we were going to play shuffleboard, but it was tabletop shuffleboard, which isn't the same. I hope they fix the shuffleboard courts because they are in bad shape. The activities director said they would clean them, but they need more than just cleaning. Overall, I am very happy here even though the food isn't always great. I chose this place because of the good recommendations and its location close to where I used to live. I've been here a couple of months and I like it a lot. I'd tell anyone that it is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living with Great Care and Activities"
It was easy to get started. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The place felt cozy, like a ski lodge. It was always clean when I visited. The care my loved one received was excellent. When she had a cut on her hand, they took care of it right away. They also had lots of fun activities.
