"Watch Out for Eva Cares’ Subpar Assisted Living Facilities"
If you love your older relatives, avoid Eva Cares! Their homes lack well-trained staff. There aren't any engaging activities for the seniors, apart from watching daytime TV. The food is awful, with no options for special meals. They just serve whatever bulk items were on discount at Sam's Club, like cheap, canned vegetables. The homes always smell like traditional Filipino fish dishes being cooked in the kitchen for staff members. Residents only get to interact with an employee during meal times, three times a day. Active seniors are given medication to control their behavior and silence them. Look out for your pharmacy bill - you'll get charged for many unreasonable items or excessive amounts of medication. These assisted living facilities need to be shut down! I visited my relative every week, at various times, and I was horrified by what I saw!

"Urgent Investigation Needed for Ava's Poorly Managed Assisted Living Facilities"
My advice: avoid Ava's assisted living facilities at all costs. It appears to me Ava's expansion of disposing five to six assisted living facilities displays nothing more than a mere greed for wealth given the atrocious care provided. The workers, of Filipino origin, communicate not even slightly in English and lack legal verification. It's evident they're burdened with work. They barely provide attention or care, the food isn't appetizing, and there's a palpable absence of compassion. The rate at which residents change here is alarming, prompting me to take my mother out before any harm could befall her. Ava urgently needs to be examined by the state and her business should be shut down.

"Substandard Care and High Cost at Ava Cares IV"
If I could rate less than one star, I would. Just like what others have said, this place is solely about profit, not about providing quality care. The staff hardly knows English, and there's zero interaction with the residents - they're just planted in front of the television all day. If your family member can move around and feed themselves, this place might work. But if they can't, the $3,500 per month charge isn't justified. If you decide to put someone in their care, I strongly advise getting a hidden camera. The only positive aspect I can mention is that the place is clean. My mother's condition seriously deteriorated during her time there, and it wasn't just due to her illness. Ava Cares IV is located at 616 Valle Vista Rd., Brandon.

"Compassionate care, efficient service, always excellent. Highly recommend!"
My wife's uncle stayed at Ava Cares for almost 2 years until he passed away. It was very comforting to see how they provided a caring, compassionate home for him, full of laughter. They handled all his medical needs quickly and efficiently. My family and I visited often, sometimes unannounced, and it was always excellent. I highly recommend Ava Cares!

""Avoid This Assisted Living: Poor Care and Questionable Practices""
This assisted living facility is not a good choice if you're seeking quality care! The owner seems more interested in the cash than the residents. They don't even bother providing diabetic-friendly meals to diabetic residents. Plus, there are some fishy activities happening that really make you wonder. This place deserves investigation or closure. I wouldn't risk putting my own family member here.
