"Affordable with friendly staff, but unclear financial expectations."
We picked Avon Manor because it's not too expensive. The rooms there are big enough for what he needs. The people who work there are really nice. I just wish the people who run the place would be clearer about what they want money-wise. But overall, I'd tell other people to check it out if they're looking.

"Clean Interior, Friendly Staff, Not Ideal for Dementia Patients"
We visited a house with two bedrooms and one bathroom. They added a third bedroom by closing the garage. Each bedroom had two twin beds. The two main bedrooms were for women, and the enclosed room was for men. Inside, everything looked clean, and there were no bad smells. Actually, it smelled nice because a nurse was baking. She was polite and friendly. I also talked to [name removed], who was kind and understanding. But we didn't choose this place for our mom because it didn't seem right for her. She has dementia and tends to wander.

"Friendly Staff, Clean Spaces But Not Ideal for Dementia Patient"
This assisted living home had three bedrooms, with the third one being created by enclosing the garage. Each room had two single-sized beds. Women stayed in the primary two bedrooms and the men stayed in the garage-turned bedroom. Inside, the place was neat and free of any bad odors. In fact, the nurse was baking something when I visited, making the place smell quite nice. The nurse was also very welcoming and kind. I also communicated with another staff member who was also very understanding and considerate. However, we did not select this home for our mother because it didn't seem right for her needs. Unfortunately, our mother suffers from dementia and has a habit of wandering around.

"Cozy, Caring Home in a Quiet Neighborhood"
Avon Manor feels just like home because it actually is a home, set in a peaceful, safe, and private neighborhood. Caregivers provide kindness, care, and support around the clock. Meals are served family-style at a big table in a bright, cozy room with a nice view of the garden and waterway, all protected by a safety fence. The owner, Mr. Bruce, personally hires and trains the staff. The residents are happy and friendly with each other. They mostly hang out in the front parlor, a clean and quiet room with sofas and recliners. The bedrooms are neat and peaceful, and the bathroom is always warm and safe. Visitors are always welcome. This simple and comfortable place has everything you need.

"Perfect fit for my Aunt in her new home"
We’re happy to share that my Aunt has settled into a safe and comfortable home. On her first day, she thought it was a nice place but insisted she needed to go back to her condo. After falling asleep on the couch, the kind staff encouraged my cousin to leave, even though he was hesitant. To his surprise, he was woken up by a call from my Aunt, who was thrilled with the place, the food, and everything about her new home. We’re so relieved that she and her son no longer have to worry about caregivers or groceries. This is the perfect place for her. The home is newly remodeled with two semi-private rooms and a few vacancies that will likely be filled soon. She is excited to spend time on the patio once the weather improves. This small, cozy home is the best fit for her, unlike a larger, more confusing place. She now feels like she has a new home with good food and someone always there to help. She had worried she’d be put in an institution, but the Florida Resident Care Home system has given her a safe new home close to her son, who visits often. We’re so grateful for your help in finding the perfect place for my Aunt, and we hope you continue assisting other families in the same way.

"Perfect New Home for Aunt Agatha – Safe, Comfortable, and Caring"
We are thrilled to share that Aunt Agatha has settled into a safe and comfortable home. On her first day, she thought it was nice but wanted to go back home. When my cousin told her this was her new home, she insisted on going home and wouldn't move from the couch until he took her back to her condo. After Agatha fell asleep on the couch, the caring staff encouraged my cousin to leave, which he did with some hesitation. To his surprise, he received a call from his mother later, saying how wonderful it was, how good the food was, and how happy she felt. We are so relieved that neither Agatha nor her son have to worry about which caregiver was supposed to show up, if the grocery list was completed, or who was going to cook. This place is perfect for her. It’s a recently remodeled one-story home with 2 semi-private rooms. There are a few open spots that should fill up quickly. When the weather is nicer and the rain stops, Agatha looks forward to spending time on the patio, which overlooks a grassy area and a lovely waterway. This small, intimate home is just right for Agatha, much better than a large, confusing facility. She feels like she has a new home with good food and help when she needs it. She was worried she’d end up in an institution, but the Florida Resident Care Home system has met her needs perfectly and is close to her son, who visits often. We are so grateful for your help in finding the right place for Agatha and wish you all the best in helping other families find the perfect solution for theirs.

"Moving Aunt Ag to constant care"
We are happy to say that Aunt Ag is now settled in a safe and comfortable home. On her first day, she said it was nice but wanted to go home. My cousin told her this was her new home, but she refused to move from the couch until he took her back to her condo. After she fell asleep on the couch, the kind staff told my cousin to leave, which he did reluctantly. To his surprise, he got a call from his mom saying she was delighted, the food was good, and she was very happy. We are so relieved that she and her son no longer have to worry about caregivers or groceries. This place is perfect for her. It's a newly remodeled one-story home with two semi-private rooms. There are a couple of vacancies that will likely fill up soon. Agatha is looking forward to spending time on the patio once the weather cools. This small, intimate home is perfect for her, unlike a large, confusing place. Agatha feels at home with good food and help whenever she needs it. She thought she would be put away in an institution, but the Florida Resident Care Home system has given her a safe new home near her son, who visits often. We are so grateful for your help in finding the perfect place for Agatha. We wish you all the best in helping other families find the right solution.
