"A perfect place for Mom!"

We learned about Bayshore from a friend whose mom lived there until she passed away. We’re looking for a place for our mother and called to set up a tour with the Administrator. We were really impressed by how much attention they gave to us and our mother. We could contact the administrator directly with any questions, too. All the staff was professional and caring. Once we move our mom to Florida, we hope she can live there. After visiting larger places, it was nice to find a cozy, homey environment for her.

"Bringing Mom Home :)"

Bayshore staff have been very supportive. I feel like my mom and I have an extended family now. Mom has fit right in, surrounded by loving and caring people. I couldn’t ask for a better fit for her. She has found her new home. Bayshore is comfortable, welcoming, and felt like home from the first visit.

"A beautiful home—with old-fashioned values"

Bayshore is a truly special assisted living facility in a beautiful private neighborhood in Nokomis. I host a weekly painting show on SNN and have been providing art at Bayshore for years. What I love most is that they have triple the required staff, and the staff is so patient, loving, and attentive. Each resident gets one-on-one care every day. If you're looking for a place for a loved one, you need to check out Bayshore. With less than 20 residents, everyone gets personal, customized attention—just like you would want. The residents socialize in the living room and eat homemade meals together at the dining room table, like a family. Doctors and therapists come on-site, so no one has to wait in doctor’s offices. They even get their hair and nails done right at Bayshore, showing how much they care for their residents' dignity and self-care. Bayshore is a rare find, and you have to see it to believe it. With so many big places out there, I didn’t know such a small, intimate place existed. I’m proud to offer weekly art to the wonderful seniors who make up the Bayshore family.

"A Wonderful Place - Just Like Home!"

Finding a place for a loved one is really hard. Choosing Bayshore Guest Home & Gardens made it easy for me. I didn’t want a big, corporate-run nursing home; I wanted something local and homey. Bayshore is just that! I was warmly welcomed by the administrator, and she was amazing. The place used to be a home before it became a nursing home, which adds to the cozy feel. The staff is patient, caring, and kind. The rooms are big, and they have a pool and a garden out back. They're also improving the facility with more amenities, which is great! I highly recommend Bayshore; it's a wonderful place without all the corporate fuss you find elsewhere.

"A Fantastic Place for Seniors to Live"

I’m proud to say that I have been involved with Bayshore Guest Home & Gardens for over eight years. It’s an excellent facility that is now expanding to meet the needs of our growing elderly population. Why do I like it? It’s small, feels like home, and focuses only on the residents' quality of life. Also, future residents and their families get help from professionals like me to secure Veteran's benefits and other long-term funding sources.

"Very nice and welcoming place"

Upon arriving at this community, the friendly staff welcomed me. They are really helpful and care a lot for the elderly. The inside of the facility looks fantastic and is very clean. There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day. I would recommend Bayshore Guest Home to anyone searching for a place for their loved one.

"The perfect home for Mom!"

I visited Nayshore after speaking with the director. I walked into a warm, caring, and clean place. At that moment, I knew this was the right spot for my mom. The staff treats everyone like family, and the atmosphere feels just like home. There are fun activities like crafts, cards, and parties planned regularly.

"So happy Mom is safe and loved!"

My family and I recently moved our mom to Bayshore Guest Home & Gardens. When we arrived with her, the friendly staff and residents greeted us with smiles. It was a tough choice, but we are so happy that Mom is home with her new family. [Name] and the staff have been very caring and helpful as she settles in. It's nice to know Mom is safe and well cared for. God has blessed us all!

"Exceptional care during Hurricane Irma"

During Hurricane Irma, our elderly parents were cared for at an elementary school evacuation site by Bayshore Guest Home and Gardens. We want to give a huge thank you for their selfless care, including diaper changes, medication assistance, and meal prep. We also thank All Star Home Health for helping our parents return home and meet their immediate needs after Florida's state of emergency. Both senior living agencies' caregivers went above and beyond, and we truly can't say thank you enough.

"Best home-like care with amazing staff and management!"

Bayshore Guest Home and Gardens in Nokomis, FL is like no other place. The personal care they give is way better than anywhere else I know. My brother and I travel often, but we always feel sure that Mom is getting the best care. It feels like home here. The staff is super caring and always smiling. Leslie, the manager, does a great job running the place, and she even helps out when needed. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its residents, this is it. The staff is excellent because they love working at Bayshore, and Leslie always makes sure she has the best team for the residents.

"Wonderful Care and Attention at Bayshore!"

I recently moved my mother to Bayshore from Atlanta, GA. I felt scared and anxious because I didn't know the area, and other places I visited left me feeling empty. I am very happy with the care, attention, and love she is getting at Bayshore. The staff and administrator are genuine. She has physical therapy once a week and a visit from her doctor once a month. The doctor is very caring and listens to her needs, as well as my concerns. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my mom. If she ever needs hospice care, that's also available. Great place, good job, and excellent care. God bless you all!

"A True Blessing!"

Bayshore Guesthome and Garden has been a blessing for my mom and me. From the very first tour, it felt like a home, not just a facility. The administrator helped with everything during the move, from paperwork to insurance, doctor care, and even emotional support. My mom has lived at Bayshore for almost a year and still gets the same support as when we first arrived. The administration and all the staff truly care about my mom’s well-being. The staff is always friendly and upbeat. The Guesthouse is clean and organized, and it smells great around mealtime. I always enjoy visiting my mom at Bayshore.

Bayshore Gardens is an amazing place! I brought art for the residents and was really impressed by how caring and loving everyone is. You have truly made a loving home for your residents.

"Amazing place for mom!"

OMG! I couldn't be happier to have my mom at Bayshore Guest & Home. The administrator, and all the staff are excellent. She keeps me updated on all of my mom's needs. After reading so many great reviews about Bayshore, I just had to add my own. We are so thankful to have my mom in this place. It feels like a breath of fresh air to have her there. My brothers and I are really grateful to have found such a wonderful facility for our loving, caring, and sweet mom. I could go on and on about how great this place is, but I'm not the best at typing.

"Safe Haven After Hurricane Irma"

After Hurricane Irma, my brother had to stay at Bayshore Guest Home for a few days because his house was damaged. That short stay turned into over a week, but Leslie, the administrator, was very kind and let him stay longer. He had a safe place with air conditioning, hot water, food, and help from the staff during this tough time. I’m very thankful for the excellent care he received. Leslie also gave me helpful advice since I live far away. Big thanks to everyone at Bayshore!

"Highly Recommended"

We transferred my mom to Bayshore, and they immediately ordered all the necessary assessments. They found she needed more attention than the first place she was in and started the process the first day. The staff involved were great. The Administrator was above great. I would highly recommend Bayshore to anyone! All the staff are very attentive and professional.

"Top Notch!"

Bayshore Gardens is a wonderfully run place! I own a home health agency and visit many facilities around Sarasota and Venice, but this one stands out. Every time I’m here, the residents are happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Bayshore Gardens. The administrator, Leslie, is one of the kindest people I know, and her staff is just as amazing. I definitely recommend this place!

"Top Notch Senior Living Community!!"

Bayshore Guest Home and Gardens provides top-notch care! Leslie, the Administrator, is amazing. She always puts her residents first and trains her staff beyond the required levels. Staffing ratios are always correct, unlike many other communities. I highly recommend this community, knowing they provide the best care.

"Personal Review"

As a physician caring for patients at Bayshore, I've been continually impressed by the safety, care, and concern for every patient. The facility is secure, clean, friendly, and offers high-quality meals. With fewer clients, the staff provides more personal and quick service. All personnel are thoroughly screened and trained by Leslie. Bayshore takes a holistic approach to care, ensuring your loved ones are safe.

"Amazing Care During Hurricane Irma at Bayshore"

I want everyone to know that Bayshore Guest Homes and Gardens is the BEST care center in Nokomis, FL. They really have the biggest heart. It feels like home, with a big living room, a large dining room, and a kitchen that serves home-cooked meals just like Mom used to make. The STAFF takes care of the residents like they are their own Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa. ALL THE STAFF at Bayshore are super caring, understanding, polite, friendly, loving, and work really hard. The administrator and her team did an amazing job keeping everyone safe during Hurricane Irma. I live in Indiana, and my 99-year-old mother lives at Bayshore. The administrator kept me updated on what was happening, including when they had to move to Brookside Shelter in Sarasota for two nights. I couldn’t do anything except pray for everyone. Then I got a call letting me know that all was well and my mom was happy to be back in her bed. Everyone was thankful to be safe and home again. I want to say THANK YOU to each of the STAFF and the ADMINISTRATOR for their hard work in keeping everyone safe. The teamwork among the great staff is amazing. Please tell the STAFF they did a GREAT JOB for going above and beyond. That shows they truly CARE and LOVE each resident. God bless you all!

"Keep Up the Good Work"

As a third-party provider, I've been to Bayshore Guest Home for seven years. The staff is friendly and kind, and the Administrator is meticulous about residents' care and maintaining high standards. She often communicates with physicians, other providers, and families to ensure the best care. Kudos to Leslie; hope there will be more facilities like this one.

"Very Impressed. Thank You"

I toured the facility with the administrator, and even though I'm not ready to move my husband of 65 years yet, I know this is where he will be. She knew all about his condition and medications and will help us navigate Medicare assistance. The home was clean, and all the workers were very attentive. I might move in myself if living alone becomes too difficult. I'm glad I visited, and my son was impressed. Hope there will be space for him when we are ready.

"A Loving Home for My Mother"

I’m writing this to honor my mother who lived happily and safely at Bayshore until she passed away. She would want me to say how much she and our family appreciated the warm and caring love she received. From my first visit and chat with their female staff, I knew Bayshore was the perfect home for mom and us. She made sure all my mother’s needs were met until her last moments, and our family knew she would be cared for with respect and love... and she was! The staff is extremely kind, understanding, and polite. The food and cleanliness were perfect. Thank you, Bayshore Guest Home, for making my mother's life so much happier than if she had been in a place where she felt lost in the crowd.

"Excellent care for Mom at Bayshore!"

My mom has lived at Bayshore Guest Homes and Gardens for over a year. During this time, I’ve seen her thrive and become less anxious and confused due to her dementia. Before coming to Bayshore, she was losing her grasp on things, and it broke my heart to see her confused when I visited. However, the loving and expert care she has received in the past year has helped her stay stable mentally. She feels safe, comfortable, and well taken care of, and she always greets me with a smile and bright eyes when I come to visit. I know the names of all the aides, and I appreciate the hard work they do, even if they don’t get much immediate thanks. I also get regular updates on her health when the doctor visits. Sometimes, I even receive texts with pictures, which is beyond what I expected but very much appreciated. I share those pictures with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members in different states so they can see how well she is doing.

"A Wonderful New Home for Mom!"

I’m moving my mom from an assisted living facility in Venice to Bayshore Gardens. The place is clean, well-managed, and has a trained staff. The residents receive care that goes beyond what the state requires, plus they enjoy home-cooked meals. The Administrator, Leslie Ann, is amazing and worked hard to help us with this transition. I’m truly grateful to have found such a great place for my mom.

"Safe and homelike environment at Bayshore Guest House"

mom moved into Bayshore Guest House & Gardens in April. She was in bad shape and almost died living alone in Northport. After time in the hospital and rehab, we got her into Bayshore. Her health was very fragile, and she was overweight. The Bayshore staff gave her a great evaluation and made a plan for her. She started eating their nutritious meals. Her health improved, and her weight got to where it should be. When we visit her, whether we tell them or surprise them, we always find the place clean and the staff attentive to all the residents. It's clear my mom can't live by herself anymore, so I am very thankful she's in a safe place like Bayshore.

To the amazing staff at BayShore, You have made our family so happy and welcomed in such a caring atmosphere. My mom gets the best care ever. Each one of you makes her feel special and ensures she is comfortable. The home-cooked meals and cozy feeling are wonderful. My dad feels so welcomed when he visits every day, and we truly appreciate the care and compassion he receives. This place is so great; we couldn't have asked for a better home for her. Keep up the fantastic work! You all make a difference in lives, and we thank you for everything!

"Caring staff in a homey atmosphere"

I moved my husband to Bayshore from another assisted living place, and I have never regretted it. The atmosphere feels like home—not fancy. The staff were always kind and spent time with residents. They were also very nice to me as his condition got worse. They made sure he was comfortable, clean, and treated with respect, dignity, and affection his whole time there.

"Bayshore: A Caring Place for Mom's New Home"

We toured Bayshore today while searching for a new place for my mother to live. She is 88 and needs more one-on-one attention than she’s getting at her current assisted living facility. I found the staff to be very attentive to the residents. There’s a kind and caring atmosphere here. Bayshore is a small place, which might be just what my mom needs. It is an older facility, but that doesn’t take away from the great work being done here.

"Highly recommended for caring and personal touch"

My mom has been at Bayshore for about a month, and it already feels like home. When I first visited, I noticed how cozy the place is, and the staff was friendly and caring. I was allowed to stay overnight, and even though I didn't sleep much, I saw firsthand how the night staff worked hard to care for residents around the clock. They kept everything clean and even prepped food for the next day. The team at Bayshore really works together to help each resident, giving encouragement throughout the day and making sure everyone gets the personal care they need. I love joining in the activities with mom when I visit. Bayshore is a small, close-knit place, perfect for families wanting one-on-one care while giving their loved ones some independence. I can’t imagine a better place for my mom. Bayshore is truly special, and I thank God for bringing us here. A special thanks to Leslie, who not only cares deeply for the residents but also supports families like ours. Thank you for letting me share my experience.

"A New Home for Mom"

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with the smell of homemade food and smiles from the staff. Even better, the residents were at the dining room table being assisted with an activity and more smiles. It's easy to see that the care given to my mom and the other residents comes from the heart. I've visited several other places, and I'm confident I made the right choice. My mom feels safe and happy. When we visit, it's like going to her home for dinner when she was on her own. She took care of us then, and now she is being taken care of in the way she deserves. She is happy and safe, thanks to the wonderful staff at Bayshore.

"Caring Staff and Homey Atmosphere."

We looked around Sarasota for a good place for Mom. She was in an independent living spot but wasn’t doing well. Many places we liked were already full. Then a kind nurse told us about Bayshore, and that made all the difference. From the moment we arrived, we knew Mom would be well taken care of. The place feels like home, and the staff is wonderful. Leslie Ann is a true gem.

It’s great to work with people who care so much and want to provide the best service possible!

"Complete Satisfaction Guaranteed at Bay Shore Guest Home"

My husband and I recently admitted his parents to Bay Shore Guest Home. We were lucky to find this home. The Administrator, worked closely with us to ensure the best care for them. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind to every patient. We saw this firsthand, and that's why we chose Bay Shore Guest Home. The facility is extremely clean, and they take great care of the patients by showering and feeding them well. We can't express how fortunate we were to find a home that treats all their patients like family. We highly recommend this Guest Home to anyone, and we are confident others will feel the same.

"A Breath of Fresh Air"

I toured the community and was very impressed with the European family-style living. The care plan is individualized by the Doctors, Administrator and her Assistant. All the residents participate in activities, there's music, and meals are a family time of sharing. Families are invited to enjoy meals with their loved ones. I think the boutique style is the way of the future, making seniors feel at home. Having worked with her, this doesn't surprise me. Hope she will open more smaller places for our loved ones or me when the time comes. Bravo!

"A grateful family’s thanks"

My family is working with Bayshore to get Veteran Benefits for my mom through an elder care attorney. She helped us understand all the paperwork needed to place a parent. It is overwhelming. I hope we can move Mom in because she would love Bayshore and the staff there. We’ve seen many places in the last month, and Bayshore has the most staff running around helping their residents and is by far the most family-oriented. Whatever the outcome, my wife and I will always appreciate the support and connecting us with the right attorney. Thank you for spending your personal time on the phone in the evenings to help us.

"Thank You"

My mother passed away at Bayshore at 99 years old. Bayshore coordinated her hospice care, bought her the food she craved, and even cooked her favorite pasta carbonara. I was included in all her care and updated daily. One day, I found L.A. laying in my mother's hospital bed, holding her and praying. I was overwhelmed with the love and stayed with my mother as she passed. The staff was always nearby, and my mother was treated with dignity. I hope there will be more places like Bayshore when my time comes. From a grateful son, thank you.

"Love Around Every Corner"

While looking for an assisted living place for my 95-year-old aunt near Sarasota, someone recommended I check out a small ALF in Nokomis, just south of Sarasota. What a wonderful visit! "Staff goes above and beyond. Treats residents as family."

As a nurse coordinator with over 20 years of experience, I have visited many facilities. One of my patients stayed at Bayshore Guest Home for several months, and I dropped by often. Every time, I saw the staff going above and beyond to care for the residents. Their staff-to-patient ratio is the best I’ve ever seen. The staff treats the residents like family. I’ve been in many places, and fancy decorations don’t matter. What really matters is the staff who talk to and care for your loved ones.

"Bayshore provides excellent care and support for residents!"

As a physical therapist, I help residents at Bayshore. I just saw they were named the best in Sarasota for 2015—congrats! I work in many facilities and have read reviews. Other providers see them as professional and caring; they really go above and beyond. They always offer coffee, cookies, or lunch if we're there during mealtime. The food is home-cooked, and the place is spotless. There are always four or five staff members around, and we keep accurate notes on our patients. The Administrator and Lisa make sure to get a report after each visit. At first, I wasn't used to this, but I now appreciate the personal care and the strict rules about care that the staff follows. The Administrator updates families at least three times a week and expects updates from us too. I’m glad to be a part of this care.

I called Bayshore to ask about care, and the Administrator explained everything about assisted living and care in detail. We will be on a waiting list, and we feel Bayshore is a home our father would love. She wasn’t just focused on moving in a new resident; she really cared about making sure our father would get the right care. We toured the building, and when the time comes, we will move our father in. The staff is professional and exceeds expectations, and both Lesley and her Assistant were so kind and caring. I hope more places adopt this family-style home approach. Thank you.

"Bayshore Guest Home is a true home for families!"

My dad moved into Bayshore Guest Home in September. The name "Guest Home" is perfect because, even though you arrive as a guest, Bayshore quickly feels like home for both the residents and their families. Everyone is welcomed with open arms into a very supportive environment, especially during these tough times of change. Bayshore has a clean, bright space with a caring staff and an administrator who pays close attention to the care provided and is available 24/7. They communicate well with families, whether they live nearby or far away. Bayshore works hard to meet not only the physical and emotional needs of the residents but also to support the well-being of their spouses. This is clear because they encourage spouses to sit down and join in for meals and to take part in games and musical activities. Bayshore respects the dignity of its aging residents and collaborates with families to address individual requests and concerns. We feel lucky to have Bayshore as an extension of our home during this time in my dad's life.

"A Caring Place That Feels Like Home"

My husband stayed at Bayshore Guest Home for a little over six months until he passed away. He had a tough kind of dementia that took away his ability to talk. Even with these challenges, the staff was always very caring and supportive. They treated him like family and shared in my sadness as we watched him decline. He loved animals and enjoyed the daily visits from a group of cute little dogs that the staff took care of. Bayshore feels very homey—it's a warm and happy place. I visited every day and always found it spotless, with meals served nicely and enjoyed. The staff went above and beyond to encourage my husband to eat. Even when he didn’t want to, they were always patient. I'm really thankful that we had Bayshore so close to home when my husband’s care became too much for me, and I highly recommend it.

"Impressive Staff and Caring Environment at Bayshore Guest Home"

I visited Bayshore Guest Home to do a book interview and signing. I was really impressed by how friendly and professional the staff were. The home was clean, and you could tell that the residents were well taken care of by everyone. I watched the residents during lunch and talked to some of them while they ate. They seemed truly happy in that setting and had great things to say about the employees. The administrator goes out of her way to make sure that all residents feel like they are at home. She shows empathy, compassion, and genuine concern for everyone in her care. My parents are in their mid-eighties, and if they ever need to go to a guest home, I would strongly consider Bayshore, even though it’s a bit farther from my home than other places.

"Excellent care and caring staff!"

Bayshore Guest Home is an amazing place. The staff is well trained and capable. The environment feels comfortable and home-like. A special thanks to the staff and administration: While searching for a place for my friend and business partner, many facilities turned us away due to his care needs. Bayshore accepted him and provided excellent care at all levels. I am kept updated about any changes in his condition, and I am consulted before any changes to his therapies. He is in good hands. These are caring people who put residents first. I would recommend Bayshore without hesitation.

Luckily, we found Bayshore Guest House through a service, and we are so thankful we did! The place feels like a friendly Bed & Breakfast. The dining and social areas are spacious, and there's a big screened-in back porch perfect for chatting or reading. A smart feature is that the washer and dryer are outside the house in a safe spot on the porch, which keeps them quiet and reduces any hazards. There's also a beautiful Butterfly garden in the back where you can walk or sit on a bench. My mother is getting the medical care she needs every day, and another great thing is that the food tastes good. Her blood sugar has improved, so she only needs insulin shots once a day or every other day instead of twice. Mom has lost weight and inches but is getting stronger every day. The administrator, is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and professional, which we really appreciate. Families need to keep track of their loved ones' monthly supplies, and the staff always keeps us updated on what Mom needs. We highly recommend Bayshore Guest House as a great place for your family member to live and thrive during this tough time.

"Amazing staff and care at Bayshore Guest Homes!"

I’m a firefighter EMT who teaches CPR and First Aid classes at Bayshore Guest Homes. The staff there are friendly, well-trained, and very knowledgeable. The owner is a wonderful person who always puts the safety and care of the residents first. It’s an overall loving and warm place for loved ones to stay. Bayshore Guest Homes also has a great relationship with the Nokomis Fire Department, which has come in to do fire safety classes. That’s why the laundry is done outside—so it’s not a fire hazard and the residents don’t have to hear the washer and dryer all the time. I teach at many other facilities, but Bayshore Guest Homes is by far the best place I’ve taught at.

"Excellent care, family-like atmosphere"

My dad stayed at Bayshore Guest Home while we got his new home ready. The place was bright, spacious, and super clean. The staff, from caregivers to management, were amazing. They gave great personal attention and made it feel like family. I was really impressed with the professional care they gave my dad. Even though he's no longer there, he has great memories of his time. I would definitely recommend Bayshore Guest Home for anyone needing care for their loved ones.

"Small, home-like, and caring"

Bayshore Guest Home and Gardens is a fantastic, small, home-like assisted living facility. I’ve lived and worked in the Venice area for years as a social worker, and this place stands out. It's incredibly clean, and the food is amazing—just like what Mom used to make! The staff is kind, professional, well-trained, and really care about the residents. They always put the residents’ needs first. If my mother were still alive, I would choose this place for her.

"A Senior Vacation Everyday"

This review is long overdue but very important for those looking for a home for their loved ones. I’m retired now, but I’ve worked as a Cruise Director and earned my CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) over 20 years ago. I’ve been part of the Senior Community most of my life and even helped build and fund nursing homes in Florida. I was also a caregiver for my grandmother, who battled Alzheimer's for over 10 years. So, helping seniors has always been close to my heart. After moving to Sarasota, I wanted to bring some joy to seniors through my music. I’m a musician and love using songs to help people remember good times. While talking to local performers, someone told me about an ad looking for a musician to entertain seniors. I responded to the ad and found myself at this clean, cheerful place called "Bayshore Guest Home." As I waited for her, I watched the staff treating the seniors like they were their own parents. It really moved me. I’ve worked in the senior care field for over 25 years, and I’ve seen some bad situations. But here, I saw caregivers who were genuinely dedicated and respectful, making sure these seniors kept their dignity. She arrived with a big smile, greeted everyone, and gave me a warm hug. She clearly cares about providing a good quality of life for the residents. At 65, I’m still able to take care of myself, but it’s clear to me how important it is for seniors who need professionals with a big heart. Her compassion and respect for the seniors really touched me. Bayshore Guest Home doesn’t just provide care—it helps seniors live with dignity. It’s a fresh, new way for seniors to feel at home. Plus, the caregivers know their way around the kitchen and make amazing meals! I only wish a place like this had been around for my grandmother.

"Stellar Choice"

The most remarkable thing about Bayshore Home and Gardens is its "anti-institutional" feel. My mother and the other guests were treated like family in a home-like environment. I saw personalized attention, joined intimate meals, and witnessed frequent conversation and attention between staff and guests. I was always welcome too. It's a relaxed, clean setting with a great pool and lovely grounds. Leslie-Anne and her team respect their patients on a personal level while maintaining professionalism. They are well-connected to outside resources like hospice and local physicians. My mother spent her last year at Bayshore, and I can't imagine her receiving better care anywhere else. I am forever grateful for the grace and care they gave her.

"Friendly staff and great facilities at Bayshore!"

I visited Bayshore last month and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. I talked to their staff, who was very knowledgeable. She used to be an RN in Europe for 8 years before coming to the US. I’m surprised by the negative review. I liked that the laundry area is separate from the resident rooms and recreation spaces. Laundry is done all day and night, with bedding changed daily. Regarding staffing, they exceed the standard. Even bigger places only need one person at night. All the residents looked happy, and I enjoyed the “homey” feel of the place. I recommend visiting—Bayshore has always had great state inspection ratings!

"Dismal Living Conditions and Unfriendly Staff, Not Recommended For Loved Ones"

Their washing machine and dryer are out on the back porch—it's got no style at all. There's nothing for the residents to do unless you come to take them out for a haircut, lunch, a trip, or shopping. All they can do there is sit down, play bingo, or watch TV. The staff there aren't friendly at all. The person who owns the place doesn't even live around here. The lady in charge should find another job. They don't have enough staff there.

"Great Place for a Loved One to Live"

I can't say enough good things about Bayshore Guest Home. It feels like a home, not a facility. All of the staff are so caring, you can see it in their eyes. The food is so good I’d like to move in myself. They make the food there, and it’s always new and delicious. Bayshore has volunteers who read to residents and live music. TV programs are monitored to show only happy content. I feel blessed to have found Bayshore Guest Home. There isn’t a better place on earth for a loved one to live.

"Leslie is so nice and knows her stuff!"

Leslie is so nice to talk to. She’s not clinical, but she really knows her stuff. There are about 10 people staying there now, but it looks like they can have up to 16.
