"Great fit, needs more workers; good food and activities."
Belvedere Commons is a great fit, though could use more workers.

"Small, friendly, and very happy community"
My loved ones looked at a bigger place but chose Belvedere Commons for its smaller community feeling. They have made friends and are very happy. The staff is very attentive and helpful.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person. The staff members were super friendly, but the place seemed a little worn out. On the bright side, we really liked the dining area. Residents can grab fruit and other goodies whenever they want.

"Belvedere Care Facility Shows Disrespect After Father's Passing"
My dad passed away on a Monday. His service was held the next Thursday. The Monday after - exactly a week since his death - Belvedere was already on the phone asking about their payment. Dad had been in the hospital for several days before he passed away there. His stuff was in his apartment at the facility for only three days into the new month, but they were mighty worried about those three days. For the record, I'd already sent their check on Saturday. They didn't even wait for it to get there before they called me. What a lack of respect!

"Brusque Staff and Poor Care at Belvedere Commons"
This place seems to always lack enough people to work. This means the person you care about probably won't get the help or care they need. Also, the workers they do have could learn more about how to treat people nicely. They often act rough and rude. This behavior might be common for less-skilled health workers, but it's still troubling. My advice is don't stop looking for better places at Belvedere Commons.

"Chaos and Confusion Mar Assisted Living Facility Visit"
The receptionist told that we were there for our appointment from "A Place For Mom," but we never saw him. He didn't come out of his office to greet us or tell us they didn't know about our appointment. We were right outside his open door. said they weren't expecting us, yet offered to show us around. The first apartment we saw was being cleaned out because a resident left for some reason. It still had some furniture but clearly needed cleaning. I asked her the size of the apartment, but she didn't know. She showed us a second, cleaner apartment, but she didn't know its size either. With rates depending on the apartment size, this information was vital. But in this aspect, she wasn’t helpful. Upon asking to see a furnished apartment, stepped in. She interacted more with the residents and gave us a slightly better idea about the apartment sizes. Yet, it was still vague. The courtyard seemed uncared for, but she claimed the residents preferred the front, rocking chairs, rarely using the courtyard seats. showed us more apartments. We walked a lot considering the building's layout, hinting poor planning. The facility wasn't ready for our visit at all leaving me and my mom with a bad impression. The place seemed more like a nursing home, smelling and appearing as one. A resident told us the place was "fabulous,” but my mom and I disagreed. Upon leaving, my mom stated, "I don't want to be here". I didn’t want her there either.

"Little Older Community"
We visited several communities, and this one appeared older than most of the others we toured. It wasn't as inviting and could have used some updates. The staff was friendly and informative during the tour. Although we didn't eat here, the food looked and smelled good.

"Pleasant but Not Suitable for Mother-in-Law"
We checked out this place for my mother-in-law and her needs. Everything went smoothly, and everyone was really nice to us. The place looked nice, and you could see they keep it clean. Our tour guide was awesome and told us a lot of helpful stuff. The tour went well, but it wasn't the right fit for my mother-in-law and what she needs.

"I feel comfortable with this community"
I've tried the food, and it's really good. The staff has been helpful and encouraging. My mother-in-law has started joining in on some of the daily activities. The community is well-kept, and they have a nice outdoor area to relax in. They also do her laundry, and I would definitely recommend this place.

"My Loved One Was Not Eligible"
My son had a pleasant tour of this facility. They sent someone to assess my loved one, but unfortunately, the next day they informed us that they couldn't admit her because she was bedridden.

"A Nice Visit"
This place was a bit expensive for us, but it's nice. The staff we met were friendly, and they even have a beautician on-site. Plus, it's conveniently close to grocery stores and other community spots.

"“A Smooth Transition with Engaging Activities”"
After a tough first night, my husband has settled in really well. He’s been friendly with everyone there and gets along with other residents. It’s a huge relief for me. He fits in nicely and feels happy. The community is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful. The activity director is great at keeping residents informed.

"Untidy and Overpriced Assisted Living Facility"
I wasn't a fan of this place. It was super untidy. It stank. And they charged too much for the services they provided.

"Communication Needs Clarification"
This place said they'd help my grandpa visit grandma's grave every Saturday. But when Saturday came, they said no weekend rides. That's not what they promised! It felt really unfair to us.

"Lackluster Assisted Living Facility with Disregard For Memory Care"
I thought this place was just alright. I didn't appreciate how they quickly dismissed the need for memory care based on what I said. The woman I was supposed to meet with was not on time and the place wasn't as welcoming as I wanted it to be.

"Dissatisfied with Undelivered Serviced at Assisted Living Facility"
We gave a month's notice to leave the place within just over a week. The meals are either deep-fried or frozen, served cold, and meal times don't suit anyone. They serve breakfast at 9:00, lunch at 1:30 and dinner at 5:30, but the residents are expected to be seated an hour before. The dining service is awful, let alone that they don't even bother refilling the condiment trays. My mom was never offered any help to change her beddings or wash her clothes. It took them over 10 days to figure out a proper system to empty her bedpan, and that too either at early dawn or never. We even had to show them how to clean the bedpan properly. There's more, but it's the same old story. I had to address these problems to them every day, always calm even though the services they promised were not fully delivered. I've paid for the entire month of October and am taking my mom home until we find a better place.
