The Belvedere Commons of Sun City is fixing up its place, so there's a bunch of stuff happening there right now. Even with all that, the care services are good, and the people who work there pay attention. From what we've seen, we'd tell other families to consider it.

"Elderly sister finds warm, caring home at Belvedere Commons of SCC"
My elderly sister had lived in New York her whole life. When she couldn't live alone anymore, I searched for an Assisted Living place near my Florida home. I visited Belvedere Commons of SCC without an appointment. In a few minutes, a Director greeted me and offered to meet immediately. They explained the facility, services, and kindly answered my questions. They gave me a tour, and the staff warmly welcomed me with smiles. Wanting a small, inviting place for my sister, I found it here. Since day one, she's been extremely happy. She always says she feels great here. The staff and residents are friendly and caring. The supporting staff is very professional and makes her feel safe.

"Friendly Staff, Could Improve Activities and Care Speed"
My family and our loved one had a good time at Belvedere Commons. It's a smaller community. Sometimes, the care can be slow. More activities would be nice, but the bus was broken while our loved one was there. The staff was really nice. Overall, you should visit to see if it's right for your loved one.

"Unpleasant Smell Overshadows Friendly Tour at Facility"
Our family went to see the place in person, and honestly, we weren’t wowed. The lady showing us around was friendly enough, but right when we stepped inside, there was a clear, bad smell.

"Peace of Mind in a Cozy Community"
The place is tidy, and they check on our loved ones every 2 hours, which gives us peace of mind. It's a smaller community, so our loved ones don't get lost. I'd recommend it to others.

"Poor Meals and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
The place was alright, but my family member didn't really enjoy the meals. They didn't have many activities for the residents. I'd advise you not to put your family members in here. The interaction with the staff wasn't that great. Only one nurse would keep in touch with us. I hope they improve their communication and pay more attention to the residents.

"Bad communication and unprepared staff at assisted living facility"
I was promised that either [name removed] or [name removed] were going to be present. When I arrived, the staff seemed clueless about my visit, without any information available for what I wanted -- the costs. She attempted to call [name removed], but there was no response. I'm initially let down by their lack of communication about my visit.
