"Poor communication and value at Bethesda on Turkey Creek."

My family member lived in Bethesda on Turkey Creek and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Their communication was just awful. They only got in touch when trouble popped up. The workers barely responded to anything. I'm pretty sure they didn't give good care. Whenever I visited, my family member was always just sitting, not doing anything. The price for what we got was really bad - I wouldn't spend my money there.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility"

We visited Bethesda on Turkey Creek while searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. Unfortunately, we didn't like this place. They weren't ready for the tour, and it's too far from the main part of town. The facility looks very run-down.

"Unhappy Stay at Costly Assisted Living"

My family member did not like it here. The place was dirty, and the staff didn’t seem to care much. At night, the young workers didn’t pay much attention, and he felt ignored. The meals were terrible, and he was unhappy. The cost was too much for just one room shared by two people, without any private space. They served three meals a day, but if you came late, you missed out. They didn’t give out snacks they said they would. There was nothing to do except stay in your room. They didn’t allow people to go outside at all. We found another assisted living place with a one-bedroom apartment, friendly staff, lots of activities, a swimming pool, and it costs the same. We’re thinking of moving there.

"Unsafe and Understaffed: Brevard Assisted Living Facility Is A Nightmare"

Probably the most poorly managed assisted living place in Brevard. There's zero security - anyone can just waltz on in whenever they want. From 11 at night till 7 in the morning, they only have one non-medical person looking after a whopping 86 people! Their chow isn't even fresh - it's all from cans, not at all like home-cooked meals. If your family member needs hospice care, be warned that there's no one around after 11 to administer morphine. They just don't have enough trained nurses to properly take care of everyone. Staff members are always coming and going, probably cause they don't get paid enough for all the hard work they do. Upper management couldn't care less about it. They even send their laundry to some other place. Seriously, get your family out of there asap!

"Great care and food make this facility a good choice"

The staff takes great care of everyone and is very helpful. The food is healthy, and my mom, who is picky, likes it. She seems happy at the facility. Dealing with dementia is tough for everyone. I’m grateful for the staff’s love, time, and patience.

"Poor Management and Theft at Bethesda Assisted Living"

I need to tell you all about the rough time my aunt had at Bethesda on Turkey Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care in Palm Bay, Florida. It's rough to think that my aunt lived there for three whole years. A bunch of her stuff got stolen - jewelry, money - you name it. When I brought this up to the lady in charge at the time, she barely batted an eye, acting like it wasn't a big deal. She didn't even say sorry, or suggest she'd mention it to the other workers. It seemed like my aunt's money disappeared every single day. It's horrible to think that the employees were taking from her. I live far away, and each time I visited and gave something to my aunt, she'd end up crying about how the staff took it. When I complained to the boss about it, she acted like it was none of her business. One time, I even got a notice saying that my aunt couldn't pay her rent, and was under by less than $1,000. Her money was all being used for her medications. So, I paid out of my own pocket to cover her rent, but things were tough because of her medical bills and living costs. And what did Bethesda do? They sent me a warning saying they'd kick my aunt out in 45 days if I didn't find somewhere else for her. When I talked to the boss, she just said, “we are running a business here.” I was struggling to handle everything by myself, living thousands of miles away. It really seemed cold-hearted to me.

"Director Dismisses Thefts, Evicts Elderly Aunt Due to Medication Costs"

Hey everybody, I just had to let you all know about my aunt's terrible experience at Bethesda's Turkey Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care in Palm Bay, FL. I sincerely regret that she had to live in this place for three years. A lot of her belongings, including jewelry and money, disappeared mysteriously during her time there. When I complained to the director (who I won't name here), she brushed off my concern like it was nothing. She didn't even give a small hint of caring, no sorries or promises to talk to her staff. Every time I gave some cash to my aunt for her needs, it vanished by the next day. Clear sign that someone was exploiting her, which is heartbreaking. I live far away, but whenever I visited her and left her something, she would tear up saying the workers stole it. Still, the director just didn't seem bothered. To top if off, I once found out that my aunt's rent was short by less than a $1,000. She was having difficulty making ends meet due to her medical expenses. I covered the rent out of my own pocket, but she wasn't able to keep up because of the high cost of her medication and rent. The management at Bethesda cornered me telling me I needed to find a new place for her in 45 days. When I confronted the director about this, she simply said, "we are running a business here." Living thousands of miles away and dealing with an unhelpful management, I found her response extremely cold-hearted.

"Wonderful Assisted Living with Caring Staff and Fun Activities"

My mom has been living at Bethesda on Turkey Creek since May. The staff is super friendly and always goes out of their way to help. My mom loves all the activities, and there are so many different options. They even take residents on trips outside the facility and provide transportation. She enjoys the food, and the kitchen staff is really nice. What was most important for us was that she has her own room. We would definitely recommend Bethesda to friends and family!

"Welcoming Center Creates Great First Impression at Assisted Living"

The biggest change is the new front entrance. I like to call it a “welcoming center.” The staff always greets me with smiles and happiness when I walk in. The entrance feels much more professional and organized. It really makes a great first impression! The staff has been friendly, professional, and very helpful.

"Bethesda on Turkey Creek - Palm Bay, FL"

I visited Bethesda in and immediately knew it would be my home forever. The staff has been incredibly helpful as I adjusted after my husband's passing in December. My family and I are so grateful for the staff and everyone who makes this place a home.

"All-inclusive and engaging!"

Hudson Manor is an all-inclusive community. We liked it because we knew what we were paying each month without worrying about extra charges. They offer many activities and really engage the residents. My mom didn't participate in activities at her previous community, but here she always seems to be doing something. We are really pleased with Hudson Manor and would recommend it to anyone.

"Bethesda feels like home with caring staff and residents."

I felt really welcomed by the staff and residents. Every resident I spoke with said they loved it there and highly recommended Bethesda. They mentioned how well they are taken care of and how loved they feel. It was a tough decision for me. We visited many places that were beautiful, but none had the same warm feeling of home. Thank you to the staff and residents at Bethesda for helping me decide. I’m so happy my mom will be part of your family!

"Wonderful facility with friendly staff and great activities!"

Bethesda on Turkey Creek does an amazing job! I would rate them very high on everything. It’s a nice place, and everyone is really friendly. I love how they have plenty of activities and work hard to keep the residents involved. My loved one is a bit set in her ways and was unsure about joining in at first, but they encouraged her and showed her different activities until she found some she enjoys!

"They Go Out of Their Way to Accommodate Everyone"

At Bethesda on Turkey Creek, they really try hard to make everyone comfortable. They have a good setup there and aren't just a one-size-fits-all place. They help with VA financing and any other kinds of financing. For example, I sold the client's car to get her a room they had saved for me. The price was much better than anywhere else. The grounds are really nice, with birds chirping. It feels like an old golf course or park, and there's a nice creek. They have residents in every stage of senior life. A golf cart comes around to take residents to meals if needed. Doctors visit every week to check on the people. They have a full schedule of activities and special nights like Italian fun and food.
