"'Dreadful conditions at an Elderly Care Facility'"
I stopped by the facility on 1/13/2016 and was instantly taken aback by how dirty the building was right from the entrance. Stepping inside did not ease my concerns. The residents were clearly not well-cared for and many seemed to be heavily medicated while seated in their wheelchairs. Dementia patients on the second floor were gathered in the hallways awaiting their prescriptions. Some staff members were trying to manage, but there just weren't enough to cover the number of residents. Both the city and state should be more concerned about where our elders and veterans are housed. Regular visits and inspections from government bodies should be encouraged to ensure the senior citizens are indeed getting their money's worth. Considering a hefty $1000 move-in fee, one can hardly fathom the state of affairs at this establishment.

"Beware: Bristol Court Shortchanges its Residents"
Bristol Court is the worst living facility in the county. I'm totally shocked! Let me tell you.. the so-called "doctor" running things is more like Dr. Do Nothing. He shows up every now and then. His mom is really the one in charge. They claim to hire certified nursing assistants, but that's not true. They hire whoever walks through the door because staff keeps quitting. The helpers even sleep on the job at night. Just the other week, they let a sick resident leave when they shouldn't have. They don't treat their residents well at all. I'm begging you, don't put a loved one there. They won't get the care they need.

This place is a mess... I wouldn't have anyone I care about live here unless I really despised them.

"Happy with the care and location"
Hey there, This place is in a great location. I had to move my uncle here quickly because of an emergency. The staff was nice and friendly. It was a confusing and stressful time, so having their help made a big difference. They were really helpful in making sure his personal needs, like meds, were taken care of. He’s been there for a while now and is really enjoying it. We’re happy with everything.

"Caring staff in a nice location"
We have had our mother there for over 8 months now. The staff is very caring and loving. The facility is in a nice location, close to Clearwater and St. Pete. We are happy with our decision.

"Good Location, Good Service"
We were really happy with our choice of Bristol Court. It's easy to get to, and our aunt lives nearby, so she can visit often. The service was good, and we liked that the facility took care of most of the chores we were having trouble fitting into our schedule. Take care!

"Lack of Quality Care at Assisted Living Facility"
At first, it looked like this place had everything under control. But soon I started seeing problems due to changes in their staff. The activities were really weak, and it felt like the residents were left to themselves too often. The food was pretty decent and the security seemed alright. But honestly, I wouldn't advise you to trust them with long-term care.

"Very happy with our choice! Clean and nice facility."
We are really happy with our choice of facility. As a family, we spent about 5 and a half months looking at other places and finally chose Bristol CT. The facility is clean and has two floors.

"Nice place with friendly staff."
This is a nice place. They help residents with memory loss and dementia. The staff seems very friendly and knows how to respond to those residents. We enjoyed our tour. They helped us many times during our visit and let us ask questions, even though some weren’t answered.

"Great Place for Care. Friendly Staff. Happy Residents."
I had to move my uncle to this facility after trying to care for him at home for a few months. Even with home health care, it was getting really hard and too expensive. The place is nice, accepts Medicaid, and has been very helpful. The staff is friendly, and when I visit, he seems happy.

"Beware! Dreadful care and medication management at this facility."
It's truly sad to see how they handle folks here. My family member needed his medication handed out. Instead, they left it there for him and he ended up stockpiling it. Honestly, this place is terrible. Be vigilant if you're thinking about this place for someone you care about.

"Great facility, friendly staff, and delicious food!"
We moved our mom into the facility almost a year ago. The place is clean, and we LOVE the receptionist and nurse! We visit often, usually without notice. Soon, we’ll be moving in Dad. Mom was never a big eater at home, but she loves the food at Bristol Court. Hope this helps!

"Toured last week; friendly staff and nice garden area."
I toured last week. The staff was very friendly and responsive to requests. The garden area outside is great, and there's a smoking gazebo for those who want it. It has a big family-style feeling.

"Wonderful place for Dad!"
This facility is great! We placed our father there almost a year ago and are very happy. The caregivers are really nice, and the staff goes out of their way to help. The gazebo in the back is beautiful! Dad loves to go outside and enjoys spending time with his VA buddies.

"Deep Disappointment in "A Place for Mom" Recommendation"
This facility is a mess. All they care about is their profits. Everything's filthy, it stinks, there aren't enough staff, and it left me feeling ripped off! Just thinking about how they treated me and especially my husband, who I put there based on a recommendation from A Place for Mom, makes me feel sick.
