"Mixed feelings about Brookdale Altamonte Springs assisted living facility"
We tried out Brookdale Altamonte Springs for my family member's short stay. The people at the front desk seemed a bit too focused on selling their services, which wasn't my favorite part. But besides that, the workers were really nice. Except for the first day, the room my mom stayed in was tidy. The staff took good care of her. They talked with us clearly, which was helpful. I think others might like Brookdale Altamonte Springs too. Just remember, the sales folks are doing their job to attract clients. Apart from that, it was a decent experience.

If you can't stay at home, this place is the next best thing. I really love my apartment, and I like that I can decorate the outside too. A studio is just the right size for one person. The staff is very helpful and always check on me. I enjoy going to the movies every night and being part of the movie committee.

My mom really enjoyed living here. Her room was big and even had a full kitchen. The community was always lively, especially during theme nights. I never had to worry because the staff always took great care of her. Thanks for everything!

We visited about a month ago with [Name removed], who was really helpful and answered all our questions. He even invited us for lunch, which was great. The staff was really friendly too. We’re definitely thinking about choosing Brookdale at Altamonte Springs.

"Adequate Facility at Brookdale, Concerns Regarding Security"
I checked out Brookdale Altaminte Springs for my sister-in-law. I noted that it was clean and the staff was nice. The rooms are just fine. I do have worries about safety though, because it seems like people could easily walk out of the ground floor's glass doors without anyone noticing. I'll think about it when we're ready to make a decision.

"Friendly, Clean, and Caring Assisted Living"
This place isn’t as big as some we’ve seen, but it’s cozy. The people living here are really nice and make new folks feel welcome. The workers here look like they’re trying hard to make sure everyone’s taken care of. They put a lot of thought into the meals, which taste pretty good. It’s not super busy, but there’s enough going on, and it’s always neat and tidy. I’d say it’s a good spot to live.

"Mixed Experience at Horizon Bay Altamonte Springs Assisted Living"
I'm finding it tough to sort out my mom's medical problems. We're trying to get her meds reordered. Some things are okay here, but some aren't. Mom says the food is just okay, sometimes good, sometimes not. Talking to the staff has been okay. I might suggest Horizon Bay Altamonte Springs, but it depends on what you need.

When I was checking out places for my family member to stay, this stop didn't exactly impress me. The front part was pretty nice, all clean and shiny. But that changed once we moved further in, there was a weird smell that put me off. And besides, getting in and out seemed hard and parking looked confusing. I had my worries.

"Everything is great here!"
Everything is great here! I’ve never had any problems. The staff comes in every day to clean, and they are friendly. They will talk with you for as long as you want. There are activities happening often. The food is fine; I eat three meals a day and have never found anything bad. I wouldn’t change a thing. There’s a doctor on-site if I have concerns or questions. The staff helps me with my medication, and I haven’t heard anyone complain. They go out of their way to help me with anything I ask.

I didn't stay long, but everyone was friendly. It's small, like where she is now. Clean, no smells like Mom's place.

"Best place ever!"
This was the best place we could have found for her. She made new friends and went to church every Sunday. It was just fantastic! The staff was helpful and caring. They took the residents on field trips and played Bingo and other games. There was also a craft room, but I never got to see it. It wasn't too big, which she liked. She had a roommate in a two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen, and it was exactly what she wanted. They had three or four different layouts to choose from. She and her roommate could take walks in the courtyard. It was small enough that they could walk down the hall to the courtyard by themselves. They don't have an Alzheimer's unit, which was nice for my mom. We fell in love with this place right away. The staff shows affection to the residents, and it has a lovely environment.

They were a bit compact. They didn't offer many activities - there just weren't enough things to do. I would most likely rate them as average, about a three out of five. This is a very modest community.
