"Mixed Experience at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility"
I checked out Brookdale, but decided not to bring my mom. Even though they spruced up recently, it still smelled old to me. Mom might have enjoyed strolling the Promenade and the Farmer's Market, but the smell would've bothered her. Also, only half of the place got renovated, and those apartments didn't have full kitchens. Some were just "efficiencies." People living there seemed happy and active though. Plus, the location is great. The person showing me around later asked why Mom didn't come. I told her about the smell, and she seemed surprised, saying they'd recently renovated.

Brookdale Bonita Springs isn't a hospital, but the staff is super nice. The apartments feel really nice and are just the right size. We think other families would like this place based on our experience so far, and we've already told others about Brookdale Bonita Springs.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Basic Needs"
This place isn't clean, doesn't have enough workers, and the food is bad. There's a door that's supposed to be for emergencies, but it's stuck, and they won't fix it because they say they don't have enough money. The workers are unhappy about how much they get paid. Overall, it wasn't a good experience.

"Caring Assisted Living with Great Meals!"
This place is wonderful. I'd tell others to consider it for their family members. The staff cared about my loved one from the start. They communicate well with families and answer our questions. Plus, they offer three meals a day with choices, considering residents' ages and dietary needs.
