"Poor Communication Hampers Family Contact at Assisted Living Facility"
The facility didn't communicate well with my mom's family. They often didn't answer calls or return them.

"Facility Fails to Provide Adequate Care and Cleanliness"
If your relative is mostly independent and simply requires an apartment with daily meal service, then maybe this place will work for them. Yet, if they require help with personal tasks like dressing, using the restroom, bathing, or have memory issues, this place is definitely not suitable. I was thoroughly let down with this facility. They were supposed to clean my loved one's room weekly but they didn't. I visited frequently, and each time I had to clean up - spilled items, even waste on the floor. The promised weekly shower for my relative didn't happen. When I inquired about her last bath, no one had an answer. The director insisted that a schedule should be posted on the back of her door, but there was never one there despite my repeated requests. The staff was generally pleasant, but I feel my relative received no actual care. She was not provided a call button for assistance. They kept saying it was backordered. She consistently complained about the poor quality of the food, and I rarely noticed any activities.

"Activities Disappointment at Assisted Living Facility"
I'd recommend checking out other places if you can. They promised to take us on van trips to Walmart for activities, but it never happened. Plus, there aren't any activities here. The nurses are awesome, but dealing with the administration left me unhappy.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Enjoyable Activities Despite COVID Concerns"
Some staff brought COVID here. My loved one enjoys the meals and activities, like bingo and the beauty parlor.

"Understaffed Assisted Living with Okay Rooms"
Brookdale of Oakbridge lacks enough staff to help residents. The food isn’t great, but the room size and layout are okay. Outdoor space is limited.

"Dark, cramped, but responsive staff."
It's dark and not so good. Tiny room. Someone fell. Staff helped.

"Avoid Brookdale: Poor Care, Deceiving Menus, and No Meetings"
I definitely wouldn't suggest Brookdale Oakbridge to anyone else. The first day my family member stayed there, she had a really bad fall. She hadn't been given an alarm button and ended up stuck on the floor for more than two hours waiting for assistance. The staff's excuse was that they "didn't realize she was there." They didn't even call 911 or take her to the hospital, apparently because they didn't have her forms filled out. The people who work here just aren't dependable, and the management and bosses don't ever answer questions. The food they serve isn't what's on the menus, the cleaning and laundry isn't done, and they don't have the monthly meetings they claim. It just isn't a good place for a loved one.

"Mixed Impressions at Assisted Living Facility"
We weren't too impressed with this place. It needs updates—new paint, carpets, and more. When you walk in, residents just sit in wheelchairs without talking. The only positive was the room options.
