"Great Wine and Live Music at Assisted Living!"
I really enjoy the residents, staff, food, and happy hours. They always have my favorite wine, especially on Wine Down Wednesdays with live music—it’s very nice!

"Assisted Living Review: Staff Neglect and Privacy Issues"
My friend often waited over an hour for toilet assistance. The front desk staff violated HIPAA laws by asking for personal information.

"Mixed Review of Assisted Living Facility"
We chose this place because of the good facilities and staff. The staff are really nice, and everything is clean and safe. The repairs take a long time and sometimes the laundry isn't done well. We told them about ants in our apartment, but they haven't done anything about it yet.

"Great communication and updates for families at this community"
I would suggest this place to others. They keep in touch really well with families through email and phone. They also send photos of activities and updates about COVID.

"Assisted Living Facility Not Accepting Long-Term Patients Currently"
I called on and talked. They said they can't take any long-term patients right now. It's a small place and they only have two beds open.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living: Refund Delay Frustration"
My mom went there after a hospital stay for her wound and dementia. The nurses in the skilled nursing part can be good or bad. Some are great like but others aren't. My mom's glasses went missing and no one seemed to care. Even though they said they'd treat her wound twice a day, it wasn't done right. When she went to the hospital for something else, her wound was bad. But the worst part is how they handle refunds. My mom left but I still haven't gotten my money back. They keep giving me excuses and pushing back the date. I told them I needed the money for her funeral, but they don't seem to care. Their business practices are bad.

"STILL waiting for refund!"
My mother was sent there after hospitalization for wound care, and she had dementia. The staff in the skilled nursing can be hit or miss. She supposedly had wound care twice daily, yet when she went to the hospital for a different reason her wound area was green! My biggest complaint, however, is with their corporate practices regarding refunds. First I was told it would be the first of the month, which was understandable. When I had not received the refund by the 10th, I drove across the state to meet with them in person. They told me the check would go out on Thursday the 13th. When I had not received it by the 17th, I called again and asked for a supervisor. Two days later they called and said a refund would be issued by corporate. I am still waiting. Trust me, if we had been 45 days late on her 'rent' they would have evicted her a long time ago!

"Avoid this facility - unauthorized charges and absent director!"
Keep clear - they add unauthorized costs to the Medicare bills. The director is always missing - pick a different place if you care about your folks!

"Options of Care"
I toured this community for my mom's care. We liked the staff—they answered all our questions about care and the menu. The community seemed clean and had activities. We suggest families tour this community for their loved one's care.

"Didn't Match Up to Our Expectations"
This place didn't really meet our expectations. They just weren't equipped or prepared enough to look after my mom the way we believed she deserves. We encountered several issues and overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

"Grateful for the wonderful care!"
I am really thankful for the care the staff gives Mom. She is doing really well, as shown by our almost daily phone calls. Mom is clearly in a good place.

"New and improved leadership makes a big difference"
This is now a Brookdale community with new leadership, and you can tell the difference! The staff were really friendly and knew a lot. The rooms were just remodeled, and their memory care unit is adorable. I think my mother-in-law is going to love it here. One of the best parts is that they offer continuing care, so mom won’t need to move as she gets older. I had a great experience.

"Lots of Staff"
I don't go in every day, but from what I've seen, I'm very pleased. When I visit, they always have residents involved in activities and try to engage everyone at their own level. It seems like there's a lot of staff per patient. They don't let residents stay in their rooms during the day; they're out in the common area, with many staff members involved in their care and activities. They're very informative. When she fell, they tested her for a UTI right away to see if that was the cause.
