"Brookdale Assisted Living: Mixed Experience with Higher Price"
The rooms at Brookdale were kind of small, and it felt like the Alzheimer’s residents weren’t looked after. The whole place seemed a bit gloomy and not very friendly. Plus, it cost more compared to other places.

Awful personnel, they treat you like a mere number. The people working there are impolite and mean. I would advise against going anywhere near this place.

"Inconsistent Food Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
The food portions are too small and not tasty. I had to make sandwiches for my mom because the food wasn't good. When the higher-ups were visiting or there was a review, the food suddenly improved. But once they left, the quality dropped again. :-(

"Informative, Clean, but Pricey"
We went to check out a place where people get some extra help living. A person told us a lot and helped us start figuring things out. They showed us three kinds of places: a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom. They all looked small but nice and tidy. The cost for a one-bedroom was way more than what we planned to spend. After looking at some other places, we decided to think about living alone instead of with extra help.

"Nice place, but too expensive for my mom"
This place is clean and nice. The director was very friendly and answered all my questions. He explained they are doing some cosmetic work in the hallways. I just feel that, even though it's a nice place, the cost is too high for my mom.

"Modern and Friendly Community"
I really liked this place so much that I put down a deposit. The staff was super nice and friendly. The community looks great because it’s been updated, very clean and modern. We would have moved my mom here, but they had a long waiting list, and we needed something sooner.

I really liked meeting and she gave lots of information. This place is quite old though and rather expensive considering the rooms.

I couldn’t visit the place myself, but the guy I chatted with was super nice. He gave answers to all our questions and kept in touch the whole time until we found a new home for mom.

"A friendly and clean community with good activities"
This is a great place. We enjoyed the tour and the staff were really friendly and answered all our questions about the services. They have fun activities for residents who want to join. The variety of meals looked good. The community was clean and well-kept. I would recommend this place.

"My Take on the Tour!"
I enjoyed this community, and the person who gave us the tour was friendly. However, the community we picked had better options for my loved one. Unfortunately, a friend warned me about unexpected additional charges and frequent staff turnover.

"Safest Spot but Lacking in Friendliness and Space"
Out of all the places we visited, this one seemed the safest. Unfortunately, it just wasn't as neat or as welcoming as the other spots. The rooms were really small, and the lady who gave us a tour was overly aggressive in trying to make a sale, which felt odd for a retirement home.

"Could use more activities"
There aren't many activities. The meals are good. The staff are very nice. It is very nice here. I'd give it a five if they had more activities. They have a nurse, and I guess they're pretty good. The hairdresser might be absent sometimes.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Excellent Care, Pricing Misunderstanding"
This place was pretty good overall. We got a bit confused because they told us one price when we asked, but when we moved in, the price was a lot higher. It made us upset. I think the staff told us the price for one year, but when we moved in the next year, it had changed. The staff were nice and helpful. I was happy with the service. The meals came on time and were good. My husband wasn't as old as the other people there. Not many of them could do the activities. I had to go on a trip, and it was nice to know he was being taken care of well.
