"Don't Trust Brookdale West Palm Beach With Your Loved Ones!"
Don't ever let anyone you care about stay at Brookdale West Palm Beach. I wish I could give this place zero stars. My mom's main need was for healthy food. When we first visited, they tricked us with amazing meals. But once my mom moved in, the food was often not even edible. The uncooked spaghetti, tough meat, and spoiled fish are just a few examples. They messed up my mom's medicine, hurt her while she was taking a shower, and even tried to make me return a brand new TV because the Executive Director wouldn't bother to call Comcast. There wasn't anything wrong with the TV, the Brookdale staff just didn't know how to set up a smart TV. When I first moved my mom in, I saw all this happen. After I went back home, my mom would call me every day crying about how bad they were treating her. A month later, I had to fly across the country because I was scared for my mom's health and safety. My mom told me her stay there felt like being in jail.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Community"
The apartments and food are great, but no help with games or activities. Sales staff misled about card games.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
My mom stayed there for about 3 years. Everything was good at first, but when COVID hit, residents had to stay inside. My mom felt lonely, and it seemed like the people in charge didn’t take care of the place or fix things during that time. We started looking at other places and noticed how old and worn out Brookdale was. The people who worked there were nice, though.

"Great facility, but rent increase is a concern"
This place is nice, and the staff are friendly. The outdoor area looks great. My only issue is that my mom’s rent will go up after a year. Hope they can fix that.

"Pleasant Stay Amidst Nature and Helpful Services"
I’m staying here just for a short while as we’re building our new home in Loxahatchee. Some of the folks who live here all the time seem to have complaints, but for me, it’s been pretty good. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are always around when you need them. They show up about once a week and do a decent job. I’ve been able to get some special physical and occupational therapy that my doctor said I should have. This place offers rides for everyone, but since I got hurt in a car wreck, I mostly have to arrange my own rides. The grounds here are really nice, with beautiful gardens, a few pretty lakes, and you can see lots of birds and other animals around. The food here is great, and I’d definitely say it’s a highlight. Also, I want to add that the people living here are friendly. I’m glad I can live on my own here. And for those who need a bit more help, there’s assisted living available too.

"Mixed Experience: Good Food, Untidy Exterior"
The food and overall experience were better here than at another community. However, the outside area wasn't as tidy as my loved one would've preferred.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living: Cleanliness concerns but good value."
The place needs a good cleaning; it's going downhill. The apartment is really nice and big, but the hallways smell bad and there's mold by the windows. My family member likes the food they serve. It's a good deal for what you get. The maintenance people are quick to help, which is great. I'd say it's worth the money in this area, but they gotta tidy up.
