"Poor Care and Hygiene Issues at Cairn Park in Cape Coral"

This is about Cairn Park in Cape Coral, where our mom lived. The owners seemed to care more about clean floors than their residents. The number one caregiver quit because she was mistreated. There were no activities - they usually just put the residents to bed because it seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Our mom's clothes went missing or ended up with other residents. They insisted there were no scabies, but when we visited our mom in the hospital, all of us got scabies. There was endless turnover of nurses and care managers. In my opinion, these folks really shouldn't be in the caregiving business at all!

"Cairn Park House: Pretty on the Outside, Yet Neglectful Inside"

The Cairn Park House on Academy Boulevard sure looks nice, and they've got a way with words. But, in reality, they seem to care more about appearing to be a great facility than actually providing their residents the care they need. In the last three months, three residents unfortunately passed away. I think this is because these residents weren't being kept busy or properly taken care of. There's also a skin rash going around, and some are saying it's scabies. Cairn Park denies this, but it sure looks like scabies, and the residents affected were treated for it. Shockingly, two of the five residents who got the rash ended up dead within two months. The third resident who passed away did not get the rash, because her daughter took extra steps to protect her from exposure to the other residents who were affected. There's a lack of activities here. Most of the time residents just sit around, and if they try to get up, they're told to go back and sit down. They've gone through three managers in less than a year. The house on 30th Terrace has been deserted for quite some time as well.

"Concentrating more on appearance than resident care at Cairn Park"

The Cairn Park facility on Academy Blvd might have a nice exterior, but the inside story is quite different. It appears their main focus is on keeping up appearances, rather than providing decent care for their residents. In just three months, three residents have passed away. I suspect that this is because of inadequate stimulation and poor resident care. On top of that, there's a skin problem that is reportedly scabies. Even though Cairn Park denies it, it sure looks like it, especially since they treated the residents for it. Sadly, two out of the five who got the rash died within two months. A third resident, who didn't get the rash because her daughter took precautions, also passed away. There's basically no activity going on and residents are mostly just sitting around. If anyone attempts to stand, they're immediately told to sit back down. In less than a year, they've had three different managers. Meanwhile, their house on 30th Terr has remained vacant for quite some time now.

"Small Home for Private Living, Not for My Family"

This place is like a special house that only lets up to six people live there. It’s good for people who like to keep to themselves and not mix too much with others. But it’s not the best choice for my family.

"Can Suit Individuals Preferring Less Interaction - Not for Everyone"

This place is specially made to use standalone homes for up to 6 people only. It might be just right for people who prefer their own company. For my family, though, not a good match.
