"Low Quality Assisted Living Facility Lacks Basic Services and Care"
The food here is really bad, and so is the way they treat people. It seems like they just don't care. If you complain, they just suggest moving out. It's gotten so bad I don't even eat in the dining room anymore. If you need a ride and don't ask for it 3 weeks early, you're out of luck. And once you're out, expect to wait 2 hours for your pick up. I'm just not happy here. They really don't seem to care about any of us. Even if you have a doctor's appointment, you'll lose out to someone going for a hair or nail appointment. Most of the movies they show are really, really old. Lots of people are unhappy and moving out. The only thing I like is my apartment--it's nice. But they never switch up the meals, it's always the same stuff. This is not a place for dog lovers. You can't get to the elevator with a dog without a stroller. And the restaurant is always running out of basic stuff. It's terrible. They don't hire enough people so sometimes you wait an hour and a half for your food. The one good thing is the concierge, they bring packages up and are good at fixing things.

"Assisted living community offers resort-like feel with great activities and value."
We feel like it's resort living here. Based on our experience, we'd recommend this community. Our loved one enjoys activities, and we find it good value. They're not keen on the dining dress code; talk of stricter rules.

"Mixed Feelings About Discovery Village Assisted Living"
We went to see Discovery Village and it was still being built. It seemed like it would be nice, but we weren't too impressed. We talked to a resident, but they were pretty negative. Maybe it'll be better later.

"Great Remodeled Assisted Living with Services!"
We picked Discovery Village because my mom liked that it was recently remodeled. She didn't want to live in an old place that had been used a lot. The facility looks nice, and it's close to where I live, which is convenient. The apartments are a good size for one person, and my mom is happy and comfortable in hers. They offer a lot of services for the price. I'd recommend it to others.

"Good visit, but the place felt a bit older"
Our visit to Discovery Village Boynton Beach was good. However, the building and the area felt a bit older compared to another place we visited.

"Discovery Village Excels, But Mom's Needs Unmet"
I really preferred Discovery Village at Boynton Beach over other places we considered nearby. It felt more modern and had everything we wanted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a suitable apartment for my mom's mobility needs at that time.

"Nice community, but not safe enough for my mom"
This community was nice, but the apartment they offered my mom required her to walk outside to get to her meals. Even though it had a roof, I didn't want her to be in a storm and have to walk on the cement with only a roof and open sides. This place was more luxurious but not as safe as I wanted because of the distance. The staff were very nice and friendly on the tour, but I wouldn't want my loved one to live there due to the way it is set up.

This place is alright for your family member. I'm not around, but they've got some issues. My family member isn't thrilled about being there.
