"Not Enough Staff, Activities, or Quality Service"
There aren't enough staff members working here, and the meals and dining service aren't consistently good, though they are nutritious. There aren't enough activities for the residents. It's expensive, especially considering the limited staff for higher level care, and the meals are just fair. The place is run down and needs upgrades. Active people don't have enough to do. Someone should be in the dining area to help serve. It's hard to find what you need when using washers and wheelchairs. Overall, we would NOT recommend it. They are very kind to my mom, but she has seen them not being so kind to other residents.

"Friendly staff, but rooms are small and pricey"
Very nice people work there. The rooms were pretty expensive for the condition they were in, and each room was kind of small. My mother-in-law didn't want to live there.

"Avoid This Facility: Deceptive Practices and Unkept Promises"
Don't even consider bringing your loved ones to this ill-reputed assisted living facility. They're known to be dishonest, and it has been my experience that they fail to provide promised services. The nurse in charge of creating care plans for the residents is deceitful, having lied directly to my face about my mother's care. My mom was subjected to severe negligence, including not receiving the promised services and suffering from untreated bedsores that escalated to stage 3. The facility's administration, led by Gretchen, failed to address these issues. On the contrary, they lied to us just to make more money. Another member of their administration, Janet, likewise sketched a picture of care that they did not deliver upon. Also, the residents suffer in rooms without air conditioning. The evening-shift nurse, an unconcerned woman, didn't provide us with any assistance. Furthermore, the place is infested with roaches that we've even seen in the food. Despite carrying the Christian name and attracting honest and hardworking families with their claims, the management of this so-called assisted living facility is a sham. To add insult to injury, they have also been implicated in Medicare fraud. For your own good, steer clear of this facility. It's nothing short of a hellhole. From my experience, you will regret it if you don't. It's easily the worst place in town.

"Limited Availability and Price Concerns"
It’s really nice, but no rooms are open, and the cost is a bit high considering its age.

"Mom Loves Her New Home and the Caring Staff"
My mom moved in three weeks ago and she loves it. She says everyone is so nice and caring, and the food is really good. She goes to the beauty parlor every week, which she never did before, and loves her big studio. Coming from Long Island, New York, she enjoys sitting on the screened porch in her rocking chair. She’s 95 but in pretty good health and is adjusting to the new place really well.

"Limited Activities; Good Food; Independent Living Option with Meal Flexibility"
My mom lives in independent living instead of assisted living, so there aren't care services. I wish there were more activities, though she enjoys the ones they have like exercise, bingo, dominoes, and outings. She'd love more musical events. At Florida Baptist, living in a cottage means meals aren't provided, but you can buy them. For various reasons, she gets lunch included in her rent and chooses to buy dinner. She really likes the food they serve.

"Happy with Food and Activities, Wants More Options"
My mother lives in independent living instead of assisted living, so there aren’t care services. I wish there were more activities; she enjoys the ones they have, but more would be better. They do exercise, bingo, dominoes, and go places and do things like that. I know she would especially like musical events, either to watch or participate in. At Florida Baptist, independent living in a cottage means meals aren’t included, but you can buy them. For different reasons, she gets the midday meal included in her rent, and she has decided to buy the evening meal too. She’s very happy with the food they serve.

"Helpful staff, great value, natural setting, no improvements needed."
I haven't visited in person, but I've talked to people on the phone. They are really helpful and friendly. It’s a terrific value! There are lots of great activities, but my mom doesn’t join in. I like that the setting feels more natural, not like a strip mall. I can't think of anything that needs improvement!

I haven't visited the place myself, but I've talked to the staff on the phone. They are very helpful and friendly. The facility offers great value! They have lots of fun activities, though my mom doesn’t join in. I love that it feels more natural, not like a strip mall. Honestly, I can't think of anything that needs to be better!
