Forest Oaks of Spring Hill

"Needs More Openness, Less Control"
The place could get better by not being so pushy for their own benefit. I’ve run my own company before. It would be good if they shared more information. They seem to like things done only their way.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Care and Support"
This place let me down. The boss was mean to my friend helping with my 101-year-old mom. Now my friend won’t visit. I'm 80, disabled, can't help much. Mom's blind, deaf, uses a walker, needs lots of help. My friend's upset, crying. Food's terrible. One worker causes problems, should go. I had high hopes, but it's a letdown.

"Cozy Staff, Institutional Feel"
We had a nice tour at Forest Oaks of Spring Hill. The staff were super friendly and polite. It felt a bit too institutional; we wanted a cozier home-like vibe.

"Compassionate Care for Mom"
I’m happy with how kindly and professionally they care for my mom. Her special needs are met with cheerfulness by the staff. The med techs keep us informed through calls, texts, and in-person updates. We appreciate all the staff—they’re truly special people who care for our elderly. My mom is in the fall prevention unit but also receives memory care on her unit.

"Poor Care and Rude Staff at Forest Oaks Assisted Living"
My buddy lives at Forest Oaks, and I wish they didn't. Lots of the staff there are super impolite and they don't even look after the people living there properly. The meals they serve taste awful. One time, I saw a staff member handing out meds with no gloves, just using their bare hands. Even the person running the place doesn't seem concerned at all. If you care about your family member, don't let them live here.

"Concerns about Covid management during a great tour"
We had a great tour at Forest Oaks. But they had many deaths during Covid, and I wondered if they didn't manage it well. I thought about what they could have done to prevent more deaths, especially when the Delta variant hit.

"Consideration Worthy, Hospice Support, and Good Staff"
I think others should know this is a place worth considering. The community is ready to help if your loved one needs hospice care. It's good enough for people who need assistance, but it's not fancy or extravagant. They have a good staff.

"Excellent choice for our loved one independent living with necessary support."
We picked Forest Oaks of Spring Hill because it seemed perfect for our loved one. He doesn't require constant or one-on-one care. He likes that he can walk to get his meals, which is a big advantage for him.

"Kind and compassionate caregivers for our loved ones"
You need to be really special to care for people in the memory care unit. I noticed [name] who is very experienced and treats everyone with kindness and compassion. We are so lucky to have [name] and many other caregivers looking after our loved ones.

"Neat and Organized Assisted Living Welcomes Veterans and Elders"
I went on a tour with and at the assisted living place. It was really tidy and clean. Everything was in order, from where they eat to where people with memory problems stay, even the hallways where the residents live. Plus, they have this cool wall honoring veterans when you walk in. I think it's a great spot if you need to take care of an older family member.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
It smelled like pee and ammonia. I really liked Nona, who used to take care of Dad.
