"Inconsistent Food Choices at Freedom Pointe"
My family member lives at Freedom Pointe and overall, things have been pretty good for her, except for the food. Sometimes they serve things like BBQ chicken sandwiches, Brussels sprouts which can make you gassy, and coleslaw, or fish. It's not really what elderly people expect or enjoy.

"Assisted Living with Convenient Amenities and Room for Improvement"
I moved my parents to Freedom Pointe after checking out a few places. They have doctors who visit, activities to do, good-sized apartments, and memory care in the same building as assisted living. The food needs more variety because they often run out of items without offering something similar. It's close to me, so I can easily check on them. I'm happy they're getting good care.

"Neglected Mother-in-law despite High Cost at Assisted Living Facility"
My mother-in-law paid for . They promised to assess her in the first month. But it seems like they ignored her because she did a lot herself... no one would come when she needed assistance. The whole experience was horrible from start to end.

"Spacious Assisted Living Community with Varied Appeal"
I visited this community and it was nice. It's really big, so whether that's good or not depends on what you're looking for.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: Lack of Communication and Medication"
My dad fell the second night there and lay for over an hour before someone found him. No one told my mom he fell and went to the hospital. When she visited, she had to ask where her husband was. They also didn't have all his meds ready when he moved in. They didn't get them until the Monday after he moved in.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The FP place seemed really nice. There were just a couple of things we didn't love. First, they only have 2 types of rooms for people who need help living there. Also, there's no balcony, but they're going to build a garden soon. My mom liked the meal point system the most. She said she could eat her own meals and save points to treat guests to lunch later.

"Great community with minor issues in rehab services"
I think this is a really good place. The community is run well, especially considering the pandemic, and there haven't been any cases here. My loved one is in memory care, and I can visit them. Any issues with visiting were fixed quickly because I also live here with my loved one. The rehab part of the community isn't as strong.

"Headline: Promises Broken at Pricey Freedom Pointe Memory Care."
Terrible and expensive experience. They failed to uphold their promise. I wouldn't suggest Freedom Pointe Memory Care to anyone.

"Excellent place, everything’s going great for Dad!"
I can't say enough good things about this place. My dad's doing great since he moved here. Everyone I've worked with has been wonderful, and everything has gone smoothly since his move.

"Nice place but far from family. Still considering for options."
I really liked this place. However, it's almost an hour and a half away from my sister, so I probably won't choose it. It's still one of the places I'm thinking about though.

"Great place, too far from family, still considering."
I really liked this place. But, it's almost 1-1/2 hours away from my sister, so I probably won't choose it. It's still on my list of possible options, though.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Facility"
We checked out this place for my mom's care. The layout doesn't let the staff watch residents all the time. This worried us since Mom can fall. The food menu is like what you find in these places. We suggest families visit here as an option, but it's pricier because it's in The Villages.

"Average Care: Worth Considering, But Pricier"
We took a look at this place for caring services. The layout doesn't let the staff keep a close watch on the residents constantly. This worried us because our mom might fall. The food seems pretty standard for places like this. We'd say families should consider this place as an option, but it's more expensive than other places because it's in The Villages.

"Second option; not ideal for us."
During the tour, everyone was friendly. The place looked great. It's three stories, better for active folks. But not for us.

"Mother Adjusting to Assisted Living"
My mom has been at Freedom Pointe for a few months, and it’s been a big change. She went from one-on-one 24-hour home care to assisted living. They check on her often in case she needs more care. The only thing I struggle with is not getting immediate feedback like we did with the 24-hour nurse.

The visit to this place was okay. Everything seemed fine. People were nice to us. The place looked neat and clean. Overall, it was a good experience, but not right for my in-laws.

"Friendly Place, But Not Right for Our Family"
I had a generally pleasant tour of this community. Everything seemed to be in order and was well-maintained. The people were welcoming and nice to both me and my family. But even though the visit was nice, the facility wasn't the right fit for my in-laws.

"Delayed Care in Otherwise Pleasant Facility"
So far, things are pretty okay. My main issue is when they guaranteed me they'd reach my family member in under 5 minutes. That's why I picked them. But instead, they're needing half an hour to attend to her. The meals are decent and the place stays tidy.

"Wonderful community!!"
My wife is doing really well in this community. The staff is very experienced. Every morning, she wakes up to a beautiful view of the greenery. I also like that they have a beauty shop, a nice dining area, and snacks are always available. The rooms are nice and pleasant. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

"Very pleased with the care and support!"
Just moved my 95-year-old mom from Massachusetts to Freedom Pointe. She was understandably nervous, but the staff was so helpful and welcoming. They really work hard to provide the 5-star experience they promise. Since my mom's furniture took 12 days to arrive, they even provided temporary furniture until it got there. She loves the food and participates in all the activities. So far, so good! I feel comfortable leaving her there, especially since we won't be down until later. No other place in the area matched Freedom Pointe’s level.

"Great care and food for Dad!"
Everyone at Freedom Pointe really helped us find a place for my dad on short notice. He is very happy there and says the food is great. This is important because he had been losing weight and didn't like the food at other places. He is doing really well there. I’m very thankful for the staff at Freedom Pointe.
