"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
We checked out this place when we were finding care for a family member. It looked nice and tidy, and the staff were nice when we talked to them. But it didn't feel cozy like home, seemed more like a big building, and it's right in the middle of the city, which wasn't what we wanted.

"Adequate Facility, Lacked the Home-Feel We Sought"
When seeking suitable care for our family member, we visited this particular facility. It had a tidy and nice environment, and the staff we encountered were approachable. Nonetheless, it didn't quite meet our expectations. We were searching for a more residential and comfortable setting that felt like home, whereas this establishment projected a somewhat formal, city-centered vibe.

"Mixed experience at Golden Age ALF, room for improvement"
I know I'm paying based on my money. So, I'm getting what I can afford. Golden Age ALF is the best I've found. The owner is really trying to be helpful. They need to update the bathing facilities to be easier for patients. They need more activities or personal interaction with clients. The food should focus more on a balanced diet with less rice and beans, and they should watch the salt and sugary treats. But what can I do? They mostly cook basic Spanish-style. The staff should take a course on caring for people with dementia. My other four experiences were terrible, especially Bristol Court, Royal Sun Park, and Bamboo Villas. I have pictures and a diary of the awful things I've had to deal with. Life in assisted living can be a nightmare for those who pay thousands for mediocrity.
