"Golden Pond Reflections: Compassionate Memory Care"
The CNAs at Golden Pond Reflections do their very best. They work hard and are friendly to residents and families. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there’s no attention to detail. Everything looks great at first glance, but little details are lacking. However, they’re so busy that it’s not their fault. What matters most is that my mom receives care and compassion. I highly recommend Golden Pond Reflections for memory care.

"Truly a wonderful place!"
My name is [name]. I have lived at Golden Pond since 2013. I thank God every night for this place and their staff. I’m 94 years old and love sitting on my patio; everyone has one. My favorite activity is bingo. I can’t do everything they offer because of my eyesight, but the staff is wonderful. Every shift knows me and comes to my room just to say hello. I love them all! They always help me with whatever I need. My neighbor is 102, and I love her too. We’re just one big family here. I can’t go on the trips, but that’s okay. I enjoy getting my hair done every Tuesday morning, something I never did before. My three children are very close, which is nice. I can’t say enough good things about Golden Pond, and I hope to stay here for the rest of my life. I’m like the in-house welcome wagon, helping new residents feel at home. There are so many good things I can’t name them all, but I can honestly say there is nothing bad about being here. It is truly a wonderful place.

"Outstanding place to live"
I've lived here for a year and a half. I’m very happy at the Pond. The staff is wonderful; I couldn't ask for better treatment. It feels more like a resort, and it's beautiful. The menu is prepared by a nutritionist, so I get a well-balanced diet, and it's good. There's a nurse on duty 24/7, and the med techs are always ready to help me. It's a family environment because you get to know everyone through the daily activities. We go on trips every week to places like the thrift store, grocery store, drug store, or ice cream shop. You just sign up, and we're taken on the bus. Honestly, I can't think of one negative thing to say, which is unusual. I don't have to do anything; everything is done for me, and that suits me just fine.

"Grateful for Golden Pond's excellent care for my wife!"
I was worried about having my wife leave our home. I couldn't give her the care she truly deserved anymore. I was nervous about whether she would be taken care of the way I wanted. But my worries went away as soon as I met the nurses and CNAs. Their caring and compassion shine through every day. When I visit, I get updates on how she is doing. They have fun activities to keep the residents engaged, and since this is a memory care unit, there are structured activities based on their abilities. The nurses and CNAs greet the residents by name while taking care of them and when they enter the room during shift changes. The Executive Director and Business Director are easy to talk to. Some residents need more care than others, but the nurses and CNAs treat everyone with the same kindness. I am very thankful for Golden Pond and feel comfortable leaving her in good hands after a visit.

"Highly recommend for parents; very clean and professional!"
This place has excellent customer service. They treated me very professionally, and I received a grand tour of all the buildings. I was very impressed by how clean everything was, and there was a nice, fresh smell when I walked in. They do an amazing job keeping the place well-maintained. All the staff greeted me warmly, and I saw the residents enjoying a live music show. The memory care area was also very clean, and I noticed that they had activities for the residents, keeping them happy and busy. I highly recommend this place for my parents because of my positive experience. I have visited many facilities before, and I can say this is one of the cleanest and most professional assisted living places I’ve been to.

"Outstanding living experience"
I've been here a year now and I'm as happy as the day I moved in. The staff is adorable, I love them all, and they are very caring. The food is good to me, and if I want something special, they make it for me. I'm very happy here. My 93-year-old mother lives here too, and she thanks God every night for Golden Pond.

"Settling in quite nicely"
My mom is settling in nicely. She really likes her room and has even started joining activities, which surprised me. Mom enjoys going to the dining room to visit with other residents, and she likes the food. The community is very nice, clean, bright, and has a nice courtyard for residents to visit.

"Great place, friendly staff, but found a better fit"
I visited the Golden Pond Communities and thought it was a great place. It was clean, and everyone was really friendly. The tour guide was ready for me when I arrived, but I ended up finding a place that was a better fit for my mom.

"Decent Spot for Mom with Helpful Staff"
The food served isn't really tasty, and the dining area isn't super clean. However, the folks working here are nice and they do their best to be helpful. There are plenty of volunteers who pitch in and make sure we have fun things to do and watch. The staff does a good job making sure everyone is safe and getting their medicines on time. They also make sure we get good medical care and physical therapy.

"Management Issues"
My mom has been here for two years. This place can't seem to keep its management staff, which is really frustrating. We've had four administrators, five nursing directors (I think the current one is an LPN, even though they advertised an RN on-site when we signed up), and three activities directors. The housecleaning staff changes all the time, so you never know who will be in your room. The only positive thing is that her aides have been consistent and are wonderful and caring. The facility is clean and well-maintained, but the food is just okay—not great. The head chef has also changed a lot. Luckily, her doctor visits her here, and coordinating medical care through his office has been great.

"Mixed Feelings: Pretty Facility with Room for Improvement"
My mom, who has mild to moderate Alzheimer's, stays there. She needs help with a medical device. Sometimes it gets detached, and the staff struggles to keep it in place. They have the info for the devices, but I pay extra for them to handle it. The place looks nice outside, and the grounds are well-kept. Inside the buildings, it's cozy but not fancy. There are animals for the residents to care for, a pool table, and a big TV with couches. They also have bingo regularly. However, I don't see many opportunities for residents to socialize outside of their rooms. I think the staff should take residents out more for exercise and socializing. Maybe they already do, and I just don't notice, or my mom doesn't remember. The rooms are small but not too cramped, with good closet space and nice-sized bathrooms. The food seems mostly good, although my mom can be picky about it. I'm allowed to bring her outside food, which I do. Golden Pond offers good value for the money. I looked at many facilities and chose this one for its affordability and convenient location. The manager, Allison Dion, was very nice and helpful. Overall, I'd recommend checking out this facility.

"Worth Consideration"
My mom, who has mild to moderate Alzheimer’s, resides here. She needs assistance with a medical device attachment. Unfortunately, the pouch has detached from her body a few times, causing spills. I’ve had issues with staff maintaining the correct adhesive for her. They have the device information, and I pay extra for them to order and maintain it. The facility is charming, with well-maintained grounds. Inside the buildings, it’s quaint but not extravagant. Residents can care for animals, play pool, and watch TV. Bingo games happen regularly. However, I don’t see many opportunities for residents to interact outside their rooms. I believe the staff should encourage outdoor exercise for residents. Perhaps they already do, but I might not be aware, or my mom may not remember. The rooms are small but not cramped, with good closet space and nice-sized bathrooms. The food is mostly decent, although my mom can be picky. I’m allowed to bring her outside food. Golden Pond offers excellent value. After researching several facilities, I found it to be among the best, and its location was convenient. The manager, Allison Dion, was pleasant and helpful. Overall, I recommend considering Golden Pond for anyone seeking an assisted living facility.

"Amazing Memory Care Unit"
This place is amazing. The Memory Care Unit is excellent; the nurses are great, and the doctors make regular weekly visits. The best part is that patients can go outside to the courtyard directly from their rooms to get fresh air. I highly recommend this place—it’s worth the cost.

"Incredibly friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere"
The staff at Golden Pond Communities is super friendly, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. The atmosphere is really helpful and welcoming, even more than the other places we visited. Mom is having a bit of a hard time adjusting, but they are doing everything they can to help her. It’s definitely an adjustment for her. Whenever we have a question, they respond quickly and nicely. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I would highly recommend Golden Pond Communities.

"Great staff and clean, welcoming facility."
My loved one wasn't here for long, but they did a great job during that time. The facility looked nice, was well-kept, and very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The director even came in on her day off to meet my loved one on move-in day.

"Mixed Feelings About Layout and Staff of Assisted Living Facility"
The facility's layout, with separate buildings, felt confusing for elderly residents, especially those prone to confusion or mobility issues. Despite this, it was clean, with friendly staff eager to assist, earning it a four-star rating.

"Friendly Staff Make Up for Complicated Layout"
The place was too broken up because they had separate buildings. It was dark, and it was ok, but for an elderly person who gets confused or has to move around, it was complicated for them. I felt like they would get lost in there. It was clean, and the people were friendly and ready to make a deal. They got four stars because the staff members were so great.

"Quiet, Nice Location, Dark Rooms, Great Porch"
Really nice and calm. I worry it might be too quiet for my parents, but the location is great. The rooms inside feel dark and lack sunlight, which could be a downer. However, the back porch areas are fantastic!
