"Appalling Senior Care Facility Lacks Cleanliness and Adequate Food"

I really don't like this assisted living facility; my grandmother is living there and she's always telling me she's hungry. She looks filthy, which makes me really upset. This is not a place where I would ever suggest that anyone keep their grandma, grandpa, mom or dad. I genuinely think this place has to shut down. I'm not even sure if they have a kitchen.

"Supportive staff and caring environment!"

When I first visited, my parents were in a different facility we weren't happy with. My 16-year-old daughter and I dropped by unannounced and were met by a wonderful staff. [Name] showed us around and introduced us to some team members, including one of the owners, [Name]. As we left, my daughter said, “This is the place.” My wife, daughter, and I returned again, unannounced, and received the same warm welcome. We decided to move my parents in, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The staff was attentive, helpful, patient, and caring as they dealt with two patients who had dementia and Alzheimer's. When my daughter passed away suddenly, the staff was very understanding and helped keep her death a secret to protect her grandparents. My father passed away later, and [Name] and [Name] and their staff were incredibly supportive of my family and my mother, who felt lost without her husband of 62 years. Mom became ill and was briefly hospitalized, then released to hospice care. [Name] and his team stepped up and cared for her until her peaceful end.

"Getting Quality Care at Gracious Age"

Our time at Gracious Age has been nice. My family member adjusted well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The price is fair, and I trust they're taking good care of my loved one.

"Peace of mind knowing my parents are well cared for!"

My mom and dad have a room there, and they’re really happy. The staff is nice, too. I live out of state, but I try to visit as often as I can. Their room is always clean, and so are they. The place feels very homey, and their room is bright and cheerful. It makes me feel great knowing they are well cared for. There are activities available, but my parents don’t usually join in.

"Subpar Assisted Living Facility Experience"

Don't expect more than a bed and basic meals here. The staff seems uninterested or overwhelmed, leading to minimal personal care. Mattresses and bed sheets are old and worn out. There are no handicapped bathrooms, making it difficult for wheelchair users. Lack of towels and soap in the bathroom. Limited recreational activities, especially for non-smokers. Cramped dining/activity room. Common phone always busy, no privacy for personal calls. Food is average, lacking bread and butter with meals. Overpriced for the quality, could get better elsewhere.

"Overpriced and Lackluster: Echoes of Boredom in Elderly Care Facility"

Expect nothing more than a bed and three meals here. It seems like the staff is just working for the money, or they're understaffed because there's hardly any personal care. The mattresses are old and the bed sheets are about to rip apart. There are no bathrooms suited for the handicapped; so if you're wheelchair-bound, you'll have a hard time. They don't even provide towels or soap in the bathroom. The place is so boring, with no activities. The only big communal space is a smoker's patio. They do have a so-called activity room but it's tiny, about 16 by 16 feet. It's used as a dining area too and they squeeze in 16 wheelchair-bound residents for meals. If you can walk, you can eat in a bigger dining room upstairs. You need to bring your own cell phone because the communal phone is always in use and there's no privacy. The food's alright - I'll eat anything - but their broccoli soup is pretty great. Don't hope for bread and butter with meals though. The price is too high for the service you get. You might as well rent a beach condo for that amount.

"Skip This Overcrowded, Neglected Assisted Living Facility"

This place could use some more maintenance. It's pretty packed and the staff appear to only show up for their paychecks. I wouldn't pick or suggest this home.
