"Unhappy Stay at Grand Villa"
When my mom was living at Grand Villa, the workers seemed unhappy. You could really feel the gloominess in the air. My mom had an accident and broke her glasses she really liked. Plus, her room was pretty dusty. I wasn’t very happy with the place.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Communication and Response"
This place seriously needs to work on talking to people. After a hurricane, they didn't tell us when we could go back. They hardly ever answer emails, and they didn't even post updates on Facebook. I'm really upset with how they handled everything. They should send letters to families and residents every week, or at least once a month, to let us know what's happening. They put all our stuff in storage, but who knows if it's covered in mold now? It's a big mess, and the regional manager should be doing something to keep everyone informed.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Fees, Eviction After Hurricane"
They wanted to charge a lot for my dad's wheelchair and extras like cable and emergency pendant. After I complained, they waived the fees. At Angels Senior Living, my mom gets those extras for free. During a hurricane, they told my dad he couldn't return and he had a bad experience. They said he couldn't come back because they can't manage diabetes, which was really disappointing.

"Headline"
I visited this place, and it was pleasant. The staff was friendly, and they had lots of fun activities. However, the apartments were small, and the layout wasn't what we wanted – all doors led to an outdoor courtyard without any hallways.

"**"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises"**"
Overall, they entice you to join, but once you're in, they fail to deliver on their promises. Our expectations, based on what we paid for, were greatly disappointed. This includes basic daily care and maintenance, like showers and clean clothes. We've been dealing with this issue for a while and are attempting to resolve it with them.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Limited Medical Care, Contract Caution Advised"
They made us think they have 24/7 medical care, but don't. Staff can't help, need ambulance for issues. Read contract.

"Good Staff, Older Facilities"
The staff here is very good and caring. The buildings are older, so it's harder to do some things you could do in a newer place. It's mostly a space issue. The food in the memory care area is good enough for my loved one. They have activities, but there aren't many. They can go to a garden area. The staff doesn't change a lot.

"Disorganized Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Medication Management"
Don't go. It's really messy there. The workers are all new. We pay a lot every month for them to give our loved one their medicine, but sometimes they don't even come. This happens a lot. They changed when they give out medicine, and now they want everyone to line up in the dining room to get it at once. But my loved one can't walk that far every day. The healthcare workers are trying their best and they're really good. But the bosses keep making up new rules that the healthcare workers don't even know about half the time.

"Mom Prefers Single-Building Rooms"
I visited this place. The rooms are like small apartments, which is good for independent people. However, my mom would prefer a facility with rooms all in one building.

"Helpful Staff, but Inadequate Housekeeping"
Grand Villa of Englewood has tasty food, friendly staff, and plenty of activities. However, the cleaning service for resident rooms is lacking. They don’t clean as often as they should. Additionally, I believe the management needs to improve supervision and training.

"Grand Villa Falls Short on Openness and Airiness"
I visited Grand Villa for my aunt, and while it was nice like other places I'd seen, it didn't feel as open and airy as I hoped. We chose a different community.

"Feels like home with caring staff!"
This community is really nice, and the staff is great. They truly care about the residents. Each apartment has its own front door that opens to the courtyard. The walkways are covered, and there’s even an exercise pool for the residents to use. My parents have their own furniture, so it feels more like home. They both started joining activities, with Mom participating more than Dad. They enjoy the dining room, and Mom loves the food. Their apartment has a small kitchenette, so they like having breakfast at home to start the day. I recommend taking a tour to see everything yourself.

"Good Community"
This place is really nice. She's been here for almost a month and has enjoyed it. She never had any issues with the food. There hasn't been enough time for her to try the activities. The staff is friendly and kind.

"Harrowing Episode at Assisted Living Facility"
I would strongly advise against choosing this living facility for anyone. The care provided to our family member was nearly fatal. During her three week stay, her health drastically declined. She developed multiple bed sores and suffered from a severe infection. During a visit, a friend noticed that she seemed unusually unaware. When her son inquired about his mother's condition, the staff blamed it on her medication. Unconvinced and concerned, he decided to take her to the hospital for evaluation. The hospital staff had to intervene urgently due to her poor health. Our experience at this community can only be described as an absolute nightmare.
