"Costly Move to Memory Care Due to Starvation"
The new manager is doing well. There have been many changes in management, some good and some not so good. Unfortunately, we had to move Mom to memory care, which cost more, because she was literally starving.

"Apartments Too Small, Budget Concerns"
Our family visited Grand Villa of Ormond Beach for an in-person tour. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but the apartments we saw were too small, and the cost exceeded our budget.

"Nice Facility with Limited Economy Rooms, Great Activities and Atmosphere"
Our family visited this assisted living facility for a tour. The guide who met with us was very friendly. The facility itself was pleasant overall, but the economy rooms were quite small. The memory care center is on the second floor, accessible by stairs or elevators. They seemed to have a lot of activities going on, and their cafeteria and sitting room are in a spacious open area. The residents appeared happy and satisfied, and we thought it seemed like a good place overall. However, considering the level of care our loved one needs and the cost, we decided it wasn't the right fit for us.
