"Great care and activities in a loving, home-like setting"
I really liked the homey feel for my uncle at Mrs. [name removed]’s place. He had a private room and bath, plus he got three great meals and snacks whenever he wanted. There were also fun activities to keep him busy, and everyone there was so caring. I would definitely suggest her to other people.

"Not Ideal Living Situation"
The caregiver was friendly and welcoming. The home seemed nice, but there were some concerns. She was the sole caregiver, with an alternate when she was away. As a family, we understand the demands of 24/7 care. However, the living situation with her, her fiancé, and teenage son wasn't ideal. The strong perfume smell in the living space bothered us. While the accommodations were bright and comfortable, the bathroom didn't meet our mom's needs. She wasn't well-prepared for our questions, but she did get back to us by phone. Overall, this setting isn't the right fit for our family.

"Friendly Caregiver, Unfit Living Situation at Assisted Home"
Rowena, the kind and welcoming caregiver, does a good job running this nice home. However, she is the only one taking care of residents and only has a backup for when she needs to step out. As a family, we understand the need for constant care and we're not sure this set up is the best. It was also a bit uncomfortable that Rowena and her family live at the facility. The living area had a strong perfume smell which may not appeal to everyone. The available rooms were bright and cozy though. The restroom did not meet our Mom's needs. During our visit, Rowena couldn't answer all our questions on the spot but she did call us back with the answers. Unfortunately, this environment isn't the best match for our family.
