"Items Stolen From Elderly Woman at Disreputable Assisted Living Facility"
Initially, this older place seemed alright as it was clean. However, it was a terrible experience overall and I wouldn't vouch for it to anyone. My mother in law, who lived in the memory care section, was sent to the hospital. The facility informed us that she wasn't allowed back, which really put us in an uncomfortable spot. As soon as she left, someone stole all her belongings from her room. Infuriatingly, they declared they could not locate the items and offered no compensation. These included costly items like her comforter, curtains, throw, a bracelet, various pairs of shoes, all of her clothes, toiletries, family Bible, books, purse, family photos and more. I regret not getting law enforcement involved. I still might, just to make a point. Such facilities should not exploit vulnerable people who can't defend themselves.

"Caring Staff and Improving Facilities Make This Place Stand Out"
The place isn't fancy, but the staff care exceeded expectations. Renovations are ongoing and have improved the building over the past year. It's different from a nursing home because it uses caregivers who follow doctors' and nurses' instructions during the week. It took some time to get used to, but it works. The food is okay, similar to other places we've seen, but servings are generous and there are choices with every meal. The parking lot still needs improvement, which I don't like. The new furniture was a nice addition. When my dad moved in, he got new items like a bed, dresser, and nightstand. Overall, the caring staff was the main reason we chose to stay. They genuinely care and pay attention to my dad's needs.

"Feels like a Gloomy, Uninviting Junkyard"
This place is like a junkyard and stepping in felt like entering a spooky cave. The place is super dim and sad. They showed me a room that was incredibly tiny with barely any space. Being here didn't make me feel comfortable or welcomed at all.

"Poor Staffing and Care at Assisted Living Community"
I'm really not happy with this place. It seems like there aren't enough workers, and my family member isn't comfortable with a couple of the helpers. I don't get the feeling they can properly oversee or deliver the necessary care to the people living there. He doesn't care for the food and he skips all the activities. They don't bother to take the resident's important health measures and they're not trained to administer insulin. They did make some upgrades in the assisted living part, but haven't touched the memory care unit yet.

"Aged and Filthy Living Facility"
This place seems pretty ancient and unclean.

"Neglect and Disappointment at Assisted Living Facility"
The place really let me down with all their untrue promises. They said they would check on him every half hour and help him go to the bathroom during the night. But no one ever did, and by morning, he had peed on himself. I made it very clear what I was expecting. However, they didn't fulfill their promises. After only seven days, the nurse said that he required a better care place.

"Facility Failed to Deliver on Promises"
It's upsetting because they didn't keep their word. They assured me they'd check in every half hour and help him use the bathroom during the night. No one checked on him and by morning, he had accidents. I was very clear about what I needed, but they didn't do what they promised. After just seven days, the nurse said he needed to be in a place offering more intensive care.

"Sister Relieved Brother Won't Stay in Shabby Assisted Living Facility"
The water coolers don't work, the place needs a new paint job, the bathroom sink in the room I saw was partially falling off the wall, and the exposed wall panel was discolored. Honestly, I'm relieved my brother won't be staying here because the place isn't in great shape.

"Dissatisfied with Outdated Look and Disoriented Staff"
I wasn't a fan of the exterior of this center because it looked like an aged hotel. Once we entered, the employees appeared confused and unorganized, causing me to cancel our walkthrough.

"Avoid this place like the plague! Completely unprofessional!"
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. They're not even professional, and admitted to not having a license. They can't provide transportation because their car is supposedly broke down; they don't even have a van. When I visited, I witnessed residents standing around in the hallway, pleading for assistance. It was terrible, and felt more like a nightmare nursing facility rather than a home. I find the entire scenario laughable.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Cleaning and Care Standards"
This place is really slow at cleaning the rooms and taking care of patients. When my husband was in the hospital, I gave the staff plenty of time to clean his room. But when I came back on Monday morning, he was still in his street clothes, the bed was unchanged, and the floors were dirty. I understand they might be short-staffed and busy, but five days is too long. His sister and I had to come in to tidy up his bed and help him feel comfortable. I almost decided to move him to another hospital, but I'll talk to his doctor first. We've had good experiences here before, but this time was disappointing.

"Poor Maintenance and Patient Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The cleanliness and patient care at this assisted living facility have been really disappointing lately. My husband was admitted last Thursday, and by Monday, his room hadn't been cleaned, and he was still in his everyday clothes. Even his bed had not been changed and the floors looked dirty. I understand that they might be short-staffed but taking nearly five days to attend to his needs feels excessive. My sister-in-law and I have often had to go in to visit him, tidy up his bed, and freshen him up ourselves. This has made me think about moving him to a different hospital entirely. Although it's convenient given his need for regular transfusions, my overall impression has certainly waned this time around. We used to have only good things to say about this place, but this recent event is making me reconsider.
