"Harborchase Gainesville Fails to Provide Contracted Care for Elderly"
My dad has been living in Harborchase of Gainesville, but his experience isn't what it should be. Over the past three years, he's faced repeated issues with his care services, which he's paying for, but not receiving properly. I have complained to the staff about the problems in his care multiple times, but they're still not fixed. The same issues continue to show up, even though they've promised to take care of them. I now use a camera to monitor his care since I can't trust them to do their jobs. If you want your family member to get the care outlined in their contract and care plan, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I've spoken with other families who have moved their loved ones out due to these same issues. By not taking action, Harborchase is just promoting bad business. I've hired a lawyer to help me hold them accountable.

"Top-Notch Care and Beautiful Renovations at HarborChase"
HarborChase took my mom into their memory care unit after she was in the hospital for a week. The new administration provided excellent care during Covid and continued to do so until my mom’s peaceful passing in hospice (from natural causes).

"Friendly staff but memory care needs improvement"
When we visited my mom, her room needed cleaning and we always had to call someone to clean it. The staff was friendly, but this place is very expensive. She got better care when hospice came in. The food was okay. The community looked great too. However, we felt they were understaffed in the memory care unit. There was no director for the memory care unit, so only one nurse was supervising all the residents there.

"Great care, warm staff, and excellent communication. Thank you!"
I couldn't be happier with the care my mom is getting at Harbor Chase. She moved from another facility and settled in smoothly. The staff is warm, attentive, friendly, and caring. During these tough times with restrictions and anxiety, Harbor Chase has gone the extra mile to keep families informed and residents engaged. Thanks, Harbor Chase!

"Staff's Care Makes Medication Changes Tolerable Despite Frustrations"
I don’t really mind this because we’re here for our loved one. However, the constant medication changes are frustrating and could get very costly. The staff’s genuine care for our loved one is what makes it bearable.

""Absolutely Avoid this Dirty, Neglected and Understaffed Facility!""
I would give zero stars if possible. The staff clearly lack training or oversight. This place is chronically short-staffed, not clean and residents are continually neglected. Take my advice and steer clear!
