"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Memory Care"
My mom stays in the memory care unit there. Most folks are nice, but a few could do better. Sometimes, there's a smell when I visit because many wear adult diapers. I understand it's hard to prevent. The place itself is stunning! For those not in memory care, it's like a fancy hotel—super clean and inviting.

" Assisted Living Facility "
During the tour, they make it seem like there's only one memory floor, but there are actually two. On the second floor for memory care, the staff is not very active and doesn't organize many memory-related activities. Only the first floor has music, food, and art activities, but they often forget to tell us about them. The executive director isn't very strong, and there's no real bed or wall for privacy. Communication is limited to cell phones if someone moves around in their room. I was there for five months, starting with two months of respite care, and it didn't meet my expectations. The nursing staff is only on the first floor, while the second floor has med techs and food preparers. Unfortunately, there's no nursing staff on the second floor, even though the residents there need more intensive memory care. I noticed some issues like double-diapering and lost glasses, and there's poor communication between the facility and families. They prioritize money over the well-being of the residents. It would be helpful if they had a system to alert staff about bedwetting, nighttime falls, and other emergencies. Also, they should post activities for the first floor, like music, art, and cooking demonstrations. Families should be informed when their loved ones go out for activities.

"Disappointed and Distressed at HarborChase's Neglect and Mismanagement"
My husband moved to HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens and no one gave him a grand tour or explained things properly. Only the maintenance guy was really good. I sternly warn everyone, never send someone to a Memory Care facility on a Friday. They messed up his medications big time. Because they messed up, my husband couldn't sleep. He used to wander around at night which made them tell me to hire a personal caregiver for 24 hours. They didn't own up to messing up with his medicines, which I believe made my husband's health deteriorate quickly. My husband was alive for only a short time after moving to HarborChase. I would surely not recommend HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens to anyone.

"Highly Recommended Assisted Living with Excellent Staff and Facilities"
"The staff is really friendly, and the building is new, so it's kept in good shape and super clean. They even have strong backup power for hurricanes. Plus, they have an extended care license. I would definitely tell others to consider it."

"Nursing Attention Could Improve, Overall Okay Experience"
I have an extra nurse here part of the day. I feel they could respond better to questions and concerns. Otherwise, it's okay.

"Great Care Despite Initial Issues"
I have had my mom there for almost three years. At first, I was a bit worried when things like remotes went missing or her room wasn't very clean. But I knew this was a safe place for my mom. They did what was needed to protect and monitor her health. I was really annoyed when no one told me to get more things she needed, or when her sheets weren't being changed. When she became incontinent, her mattress wasn't protected, and a lost comforter was also a problem. After a serious talk with the management, we agreed the comforter was lost for good. The management told me to buy what was missing, and they would credit the bill. This really exceeded my expectations. Recently, the new director of nursing care has improved the services a lot. Since my mom is diabetic, they arranged for an endocrinologist to visit her on-site, along with a podiatrist. They are making my mom's care much easier for me. She

"Aggressive Care and Neglect During Flu Season, Untrustworthy Management"
Nurses Roughly Handle Residents and Unhelpful Managers at This Facility! Stay Away! Though it appears nice, last flu season seven people passed away because they didn't take action after the hospital confirmed two influenza cases. They didn't separate the sick from the healthy and even left out precautions like providing facemasks for the staff. The executive director is untrustworthy, he's only focused on figures. They'll say anything to get you in, even if it isn't true. Steer clear of here!

"A Shocking Display of Assisted Living Negligence and Neglect"
Awful! These assisted living facilities are totally unacceptable! My family member had issues with continence, but far too often, they just let him remain in his unsanitary condition, and they'd let his smelly trash pile up in the room. His dirty laundry was frequently left untouched, causing his room to stink horribly. They left dangerous rectangular tables in the residents' area, causing several people, including him, to trip and hurt themselves, and still they wouldn't remove them. To make matters worse, they leave residents alone in their rooms for hours on end. In fact, they've forgotten about my loved one for over four hours multiple times. They miss meals without checking on them. They leave the floor without any registered nurses for hours at a time while they eat, then they leave again to administer medication elsewhere in the building, leaving the residents unattended even during emergencies. In a witness emergency situation, the lights were off, and there was no way to contact any nurse. It's no surprise that my loved one frequently had bruises on his arms - the Certified Nursing Assistants tend to handle the residents a bit too roughly. However, it's odd how he hasn't had a single bruise since leaving these facilities. As for entertainment, their idea of fun is putting everyone in front of a computer TV. There are no field trips or other meaningful activities he, this place isn't fit for any living creature.

"Mixed Services for Residents"
Services and activities at the assisted living facility don't quite match my husband's needs. However, it seems that residents with other requirements receive fair treatment.

"Luxury Assisted Living That Feels Like a Dream"
This place is the best assisted living facility ever! I would love to live there. It’s so beautiful, and the dining room has lots of different areas both inside and outside. We were lucky enough to be invited for lunch, and the food was amazing. They even used real silver utensils! If you can afford the high price, this place is truly awesome.

"Disappointing Facility Fails to Deliver on Care Promises"
This place is awful! I placed my dad there, and they didn't deliver on a single promise they made. There's no follow-up from the administration when you report issues. They're not giving out medications correctly. They're supposed to do rounds every two hours, but it took them ages to realize my dad didn't show up for dinner. The staff found him injured and suffering on his room floor when they finally bothered to check. I've been asking for them to move him to a double room for months, and it's still not done! I've filed two complaints with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Be smart and do your research on these places!

"Perfect Place for Mom: Beautiful, Clean, and Full of Life"
The man gave me a tour, and I knew right away it was the perfect place for my mom. The facility is brand new, beautiful, and sparkling clean. Mom is 93, and she’s really thriving here. She’s meeting new friends, getting up and about, and not just staying in her room. There are lots of daily activities she enjoys. The food is good, and even though Mom can be picky about what she eats, she likes it here. She’s in the memory unit, which is secure, but she can still go outside to enjoy the sunshine with a staff member. I’d definitely recommend this wonderful place. The decor is lovely, and there are beautiful flowers everywhere.

"Mom is Thriving Here"
The man gave me a tour, and I just knew this place was perfect for my mom. He showed me around, and it's brand new and beautiful. Clean as a whistle. Mom is 93 and has become a whole new person here. She is meeting friends, getting up and around, and not just staying in her room. They have lots of daily activities she can enjoy. The food is good, and mom can be fussy about her food sometimes. She is in the memory unit, which is locked, but they can go outside to a lovely area with a staff member. I would 100% recommend this beautiful place. The decor is gorgeous, and there are flowers everywhere.

"A welcoming community with beautiful staging!"
I had a great visit with the team at HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens. They were very friendly and made me feel at home. Even though the community isn't open yet, the staged areas are beautiful and show the fabrics and finishes they will use. It’s in a great location!
