"Mixed experiences; clarify deliverables."
Sometimes my loved one didn’t get their meds, and there was an incident where they weren’t fed. But the food and activities were great. They need to clarify deliverables.

"Assisted Living Not Quite Homey Enough, But Close to Home"
The place was close to our house, but it didn't feel cozy for our loved one.

"Friendly Management, Pricey Experience"
The management is really friendly and quick to respond, but the CNA staff isn't as friendly. The food is decent, and overall, it's a bit pricey for what you get.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Communication"
In this 3-star review, the family expresses dissatisfaction with the health aides, known as care partners. Despite paying extra for services, the care partners frequently miss appointments, leaving their loved one in a difficult situation. Additionally, the lack of bedside manner and inconsistent care is a concern. While meals and staff friendliness shine, the facility falls short in addressing these critical issues. Online visibility for families and meal balance tracking are also lacking. For residents without family advocates, this raises concerns¹.

"Terrible Experience; Felt Duped and Disrespected by Facility's Staff"
This place really upset me. The director looked down on us because my mom or dad uses Medicaid (then why do they even take Medicaid if they think we're not good enough for them) and we were tricked about moving in. I have a person who saw everything and can say it happened. The top people were just as bad. They acted like they were being nice to us but actually forgot who they're supposed to help. All they care about is money in my opinion. They even got some lawyer from another state to try to shut me up, but that made me want to write this review more. This has made me really scared to put my mom or dad in a place like this. Don't be fooled by how nice it looks.

"Mixed Experience: Bright Appearance, Limited Personal Care, Staff Shortages"
Adjust your expectations for this facility. It looks great outside but consider the level of care. Staff shortages affect communication and initial information. Starting services was difficult, and without private care, personal attention is minimal. For less independent loved ones, hiring a caregiver is necessary due to limited staff. Despite challenges, I feel my parents are safe. Considering current shortages, comparable options exist, but be well-informed.

"HarborChase Unfairly Charges Residents and Ignores Refund Requests"
I was about to move my mom into HarborChase, an assisted living. They took money from my bank account that didn't make sense. I had to wait three long months to get a breakdown of what the money was for, and it turned out they charged me $5800 that I didn't agree to pay. The head person, [name removed], said he would give some of the money back in December, but that did not happen. The person in charge of sales, told me in August that I would get all my money back. Now, more than seven months have gone by and I'm still waiting for a refund. The people at HarborChase won't pick up my emails or calls anymore. They're only fast in replying if they're trying to get your money. I came across some other residents who said HarborChase charged more than they should have and that refund never came either.

"Stay clear of this inadequately-managed assisted living facility"
This assisted living facility just doesn't make the cut. Don't be fooled by its appearance. While visiting, I saw for myself just how poorly run the place is. Meal times can be frustrating with insanely long waits. The aides can take anywhere from half an hour (which is illegal) to forever to respond. My mom was left alone in the bathroom while the aide stepped out. She fell twice trying to get to the bathroom because no help came. While some aides were kind, most seemed disinterested, unfriendly and even rough. Showers were often missed, sheets were left dirty, and clothes were strewn about with dirty underwear in the shower. Laundry was left unattended, sometimes returned damp despite clear signage asking it to be put away. Once, she was only taken to breakfast at 9:45am after we had to search for assistance. All these issues kept piling up. Even meeting the Director accomplished nothing. Our poor mom would call us, upset because no one was tending to her. We had to move her out after three months. I'd recommend strongly against this place.

"Top-notch Memory Care and Integrated Community Activities at HarborChase"
HarborChase is a bit expensive, but what really impressed us was how clean it is and how great the memory care staff are. Unlike other places we looked at, where they just sit the memory care residents in front of the nursing station to sing all day, HarborChase actually includes them with the assisted living residents. They take them around the community to use different equipment and even take them on trips. The memory care they provide is just exceptional.

"Awful Service and Unresolved Complaints at Assisted Living Home"
After about two and a half months, I moved my mom to another home. The service here was truly terrible. Some helpers didn't seem to know what they were doing and were really mean to her. I talked to the people in charge a bunch of times, but nothing got fixed. It was like they weren't listening to our complaints at all! This was all really tough on my mom and caused a lot of hassle for us. Because of all this, I'm asking for a refund of the community fee.
