My dad needed more care than they provided. They put him at level two, but he struggled to get his medication. We moved him out because of this. Some things were broken due to the hurricane, so it’s tough to judge the dining and activities.

"Great community with good meals and fun activities"
I recommend checking out this community to see if it's the right fit for your loved one. They serve three meals a day with different choices and snacks, too. Some activities available are arts and crafts, music, bingo, and more for the residents to enjoy. The staff is very good at taking care of the residents.

"Frustration Over Poor Food and Undesired Changes at Heritage Oaks"
My mom initially enjoyed residing at Heritage Oaks. However, the food quality and serving temperature were always suboptimal. The new management, especially the current director, brought about changes in daily activities that didn't meet the preferences of most residents. I've heard unsettling rumors that this change doesn't bother him. On a recent visit, I overheard an old lady label the place as 'hell' while returning using her walker; a quite disheartening scene. Additionally, it's being said that the director roped in his wife, a professional in interior decor, as a staff member. The aesthetic appeal of the facility is indeed impressive.

"Sales director lacking, location not ideal for everyone."
The location is close to an industrial area. I was let down by the sales director. They didn’t spend much time listening to my worries or even ask about them.

"Safe, Engaging, and Caring Assisted Living for Elderly Loved Ones"
My husband has been at Heritage Oaks for over 2 years now. I moved him from another place that wasn't safe or well-staffed. Since that bad experience, I know what good care looks like. He's been safe, active, well-groomed with dignity, loved by staff, and in a clean environment. I was really impressed with the attention he gets, the activities he enjoys, and the leadership of the staff here. Even though his mind is declining and his body is getting weaker, they always care for him with dignity, health, and safety in mind. I would definitely recommend Heritage Oaks as a beautiful and professional place for your elderly loved one.

"Heritage Oaks: A Nice, New Assisted Living Facility"
My Aunt and Uncle moved to Heritage Oaks in July. They're getting used to it. My Uncle likes the food and the staff. I live in Pittsburgh and talk to my Uncle on the phone. I visited last summer before the facility opened and again in July. Heritage Oaks is really nice and new. I told them to go there.

"Pretty Decent Care At Heritage Oaks"
Heritage Oaks is a pretty good place. There have been a couple of mix-ups so far, and the food could be better. But, the people that work here are awesome, the building is really nice, and my husband really likes it. Plus, they plan fun stuff for us to do all the time. They keep our room tidy by cleaning it once a week and doing our laundry. All in all, I think they're taking good care of us here.

"A Healthy Place for My Aunt"
My aunt has been living at Heritage Oaks, and it's been a really great experience. The place is new and super clean. The staff is friendly and caring, and I think it's a really healthy place for my aunt. She loves the food and really enjoys the morning exercise program. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

"High-End Community with Great Amenities and Friendly Staff"
This community is really nice and brand new. The grounds are beautiful, everything looks fresh, and the apartments are a good size. When you walk in the front doors, there’s a long hallway with lots of open space. They have many amenities for the residents to enjoy. We were really impressed during the tour, and the staff was fantastic. They took their time showing us around and answered all our questions. However, my parents just didn’t feel like it would be the right fit for them.
