"Adjustment Made Easier with Caring Staff"

It's a big change going from being independent to an assisted living facility, but the staff really helped me adjust. The food is tasty and the place is clean. I feel comfortable here. Every morning, I jot down the activities so I know my schedule for the day. [Name removed] makes everything fun.

"Great value with personal garage. Helpful, friendly staff. Engaging activities."

Rewritten review: The cost is lower here than other places, and having your own personal garage is a big deal for me. The staff is polite and willing to help with anything. They let me stay busy by doing some work here, which is important for me. Overall, I think this community is better in quality than any others nearby.

"Satisfactory Assisted Living Experience at Lake Forest Park"

I live at Lake Forest Park now, one month so far. The villas are nice! If you're not too picky, it's a good place; I'd suggest it.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"

The food is mostly frozen or canned, with only salads fresh and healthy. Housekeeping and activities are basic, nothing special. Apartments are spacious, but finishes and fixtures are basic for the price. No pool chairs, and the pool isn't heated. Management change brought unwelcome changes. Loved ones want to move.

"Worst place, dishonest administrators, late meds and bed sores"

To put it simply, I wouldn't even take my pet there. It was an awful experience, even though I did my homework and was told it was one of the top facilities in Fort Pierce. For a while, it was okay, but sadly while my mom stayed there, it was a negative experience. I think the people in charge lie. It took ages for her to receive her pain meds and she got multiple bed sores because they didn't rotate her in bed. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it.

"Unpleasant Experience at Lake Forest Park: Exercise Caution"

In no uncertain terms, this assisted living facility was far from welcoming. Both the staff and the other residents gave off cold vibes, and honestly, it all felt rather deceptive. When I first approached the center, I was met with the sight of old ladies vacantly gazing out from the porch, lost in their own silent realms of dementia. Now that I reflect on it, that scene should have been a massive red flag. There wasn't anyone I could really connect with since everyone mostly keeps to themselves. At that point in my life, I was in the early stages of dementia, but I'm pleased to report that I have since sought expert medical help to halt its progression. My present struggle to break free from my contractual agreement with Lake Forest Park is no fun at all. I must admit that I was not entirely cognizant of what I was signing up for at the time – all thanks to my then developing dementia. The management, quite he, leaves a lot to be desired. Skip this place, take it from me. It became unbearable to the point that I was compelled to leave. To add insult to injury, they persist in debiting my account each month, and now I'm strapped for cash to cover my own bills. Consider yourself warned about this place: tread very carefully if you're thinking of moving here. Unless dementia has taken a substantial hold, this place is not for you. It's more suited to folks struggling with severe loss of systemic self-management.

"Needs Improvement: Friendly Atmosphere, Older Facilities, Limited Amenities"

Our family visited in person. It's an older place, not super clean, but folks are nice. We liked that residents have their own little houses, but the fun stuff there isn't as good as other places we checked out.
