We’re pleased with this assisted living facility. It’s just the right size for residents, and the location is convenient for family visits. We’d recommend it. Unlike some other places we visited, the residents, including my mom, seem genuinely happy.

"Assisted Living Review: Mixed Food, Good Entertainment, Well-Cared-for Residents"
Our family member often complains about the food, mentioning its occasional poor quality. We're unsure if this is due to the food's overall quality or because they used to cook for themselves. Many of their usual activities have been restricted, but the facility has excelled in providing enjoyable musical entertainment. Our loved one's needs are consistently met, and they are well looked after.

The place looked really nice. It's small and feels like home. When I got there, the people living there were busy with activities and listening to live music. The staff were really nice and seemed to know a lot.

The way they meet each resident's needs is amazing. It feels just like home here. The buildings smell nice, not like a hospital. The food is tasty and fits the residents' diets. There are lots of activities every day, but they can get a bit repetitive. The memory care building feels very homey, and the residents are treated with respect, even if they have serious limitations. Communication with families could be better.

"Lake House Memory Care Falls Short"
I thought the whole place was pretty nice. My mom stayed in the 'Memory Care' unit, which is a separate building near the main one. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend Lake House's memory care. If you're looking for a place for a patient who needs this service, make sure to check out the staff thoroughly. Even though they might have fixed their staffing issues, I had to ask multiple times for things that would've made my mom's short stay better.

"Unsatisfied with Lake House's Memory Care"
The overall establishment looked great, but my mom was housed in the "Memory Care" unit, which was separate from the main facility. I wouldn't vouch for the memory care at Lake House. If you're considering a place for someone needing this service, make sure you thoroughly check and talk to the staff. Maybe the Lake House "memory care" has fixed their staffing issues, but I had to frequently request things that would have improved my mom's brief stay.

I really liked the atmosphere, but I'm worried it might not be suitable for my mom forever. Moving her once will be tough. We don't want to relocate her again when she needs more care.

"Consider before choosing"
We went to check out this assisted living place. It looked nice and the people we met were friendly. It's not super big but they have a bunch of stuff to do every day and some cool things to use. But it didn't feel like there were enough staff around.

"Tour was nice, but not the right fit for us"
I had a nice tour of this place. The community looked great, but the room they showed us was small. The staff was friendly and polite, but the head nurse was hard to understand. I didn't think this would be a good fit for my loved one. My tour went well, but this wasn’t the right place for us.

We like this community for my mother’s care. It’s a little smaller, and we found it to be a good fit for her needs. The staff is very nice and pays attention to her. The meals look good, and they provide activities with the other residents. We would recommend this care and value to other families.

"Amazing bedrooms and bright spaces at Lake House!"
My loved one and I had a great time touring Lake House Assisted Living. The bedrooms and bathrooms in this community were outstanding. They were beautifully decorated and filled with lots of light. If my mom hadn’t needed more memory care than they offered, this would have been my first choice for her.

Things have been great since Mom moved to Lake House Assisted Living. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the community is well-maintained and almost new. My loved one enjoys the meals and activities.

"Lake House, the perfect choice for my mom"
Lake House is new and has a nice Craftsman style. The layout is easy for elderly people to get around. It's a smaller community, which is perfect for my mom at this point in her life. The owners and staff are super friendly, caring, and always approachable! They've made a warm, home-like atmosphere where every resident feels like family. My mom enjoys the food! It feels more like home-cooked meals than institutional food. Plus, the small garden in the courtyard grows tomatoes, peppers, and okra, which the chef uses. The staff keeps the rooms really clean, emptying trash and mopping bathroom floors daily, and changing towels. The room always smells fresh—definitely an "A+" for cleanliness! The activity director is great at including everyone and making activities fun with lots of laughter. We're really happy with our choice for Mom to live at Lake House.

"Lake House is great and very helpful!"
Lake House is great! Each resident gets a button necklace they can press for any help, whether it's getting a drink, help out of bed, or getting dressed. Even though they just opened, the staff has been wonderful, and we couldn't be happier. The office staff and owners really care about keeping everyone happy. You can’t beat a brand new facility!

My dad loved his respite care at the Lake House. The staff were fantastic, and the food was great. The smell of fresh-baked cookies every day was a nice extra treat.

"Amazing Experience with Helpful Staff"
A Place for Mom through Senior Advisor has been wonderful. They helped us find an Assisted Living facility quickly. We chose the Lake House in Largo, FL because of its location and brand-new facility. The staff is very friendly and experienced. The living quarters are awesome, and so is the food and medical care.
