Lakeland Manor Assisted Living Facility

"ALF Doesn't Respect Patients or Medication Rules"
This assisted living facility (ALF) is deeply disappointing. They have no after-hours service, which puts your family in danger if there is a medical emergency outside of business hours. They also mess up the medication, not checking prescriptions properly. Their med techs don't seem to have a good education, since they couldn't answer even simple questions. I couldn't even talk to the doctor about my daughter's medication - he never called back. Even worse, they put my daughter, who has low blood pressure, on a high blood pressure medication! On top of that, they put her in the memory care unit without my permission and refused to move her back, saying they didn't have room. That's not true. What's more, they put her in a room with no closet. All her clothes were outside for anyone to grab. There's more wrong too...

"Old, Narrow, Confusing: This Facility Needs a Wholescale Update"
Three connected buildings with super narrow corridors. The hallways lead everywhere. The place reeks of age and really needs some updating.

"Neglected Facility Fails to Provide Quality Care or Safety"
I definitely wouldn't suggest going to this place. The facility is so dirty, and the food is just plain terrible. My worries about my family just amplified after realizing how unsupervised the residents are at this place. Case in point, I remember this 81-year-old man who had just gotten out of jail was able to just walkout. Where were the carers during that time? Seems like this place severely lacks supervision! On top of that, I feel their management team is unfit for their role, this place really needs to shut down for good. Luckily, I've already found a much better and safer place for my loved ones. The atmosphere there is a thousand times better! Good riddance!

"Falls Short for Those Needing Intensive Care"
My experience wasn't good. My family member had to be hospitalized due to insufficient care here. If your relative needs more assistance, this facility may not meet your needs. However, for those looking for independent living, it could be satisfactory.

"Good experience with helpful staff!"
They're all great! Everyone is very helpful and took care of us. We’ve had a really good experience with them.

"“Messy and Neglectful: A Disappointing Experience”"
It was really dirty. The caregivers seemed clueless. It felt like they weren’t working together. They didn’t take good care of her, and we had to guide them during our visits. The bathroom smelled awful, and there was mold everywhere. The rugs were so gross you wouldn’t want to step on them. Initially, it was all we could afford, but when things changed, we moved her out.

"Unsanitary, Unorganized, and Underwhelming Seal of Care"
The place was grimy and unclean. The individuals in charge of care seemed confused and untrained, as though one hand had no clue what the other was doing. They failed to consistently provide proper care to her and we often had to instruct them on what to do whenever we visited. The odors and rampant presence of mold, particularly in the bathroom, were disgusting. The carpets were in such filthy condition that walking on them seemed unthinkable. We initially chose this place because it was within our budget, but once our financial situation improved, we immediately relocated her.
