Lely Palms is great. Everyone is friendly and helps you out. After checking out four places, Lely was the cleanest, best value, and had the best food and amenities.

"More Activities Needed; Basketball Teams Desired"
This place is alright, but I wish there were more folks around and more stuff to do outside. I've been to a couple of meetings for bocce ball, but there weren't enough people to play a proper game. It'd be great to have 8 to 16 folks to make up teams. Also, there seems to be a lot of interest in activities here, but not enough actual participation. I was hoping for more variety like basketball, instead of just putting greens for golfers.

"Decent management but pricey, staffing issues in dining and kitchen."
The rent goes up every year, which doesn't feel right. We chose this place after hearing about it from A Place for Mom. The managers here are great, they do a really good job. But there's a problem with getting enough help in the dining room and kitchen. Overall, I'd still suggest this place because of the staff.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Convenience and Future Care Options"
My family members are really happy there. They enjoy having meals provided for them, and it's easy for them to go downstairs and get whatever they want. They also like the activities they can participate in. Right now, they're staying in a very nice apartment that is clean and modern, with new appliances. They're waiting for a villa because they had difficulty moving around the multi-level apartment building. The grounds are well-maintained. If they need something fixed, it usually takes a couple of days, which is okay. I appreciate that if they need more help later, they can get it without having to move.

"Toured, Clean and Friendly Place!"
I visited this place while looking for care options for a loved one. The facility was clean and well kept, and all the staff I met were friendly and professional. Sadly, they didn't have any openings during my visit, but I would have definitely considered this place for my loved one. It's very nice looking!

"Below Par Maintenance and Unwelcoming Atmosphere"
The living space was too detached – my relative had to trek just to eat in the dining hall. It was akin to having to travel one-eighth of a mile in a residential building to get to the cafeteria. The surroundings were gloomy and somewhat dim. The door gaps were around an inch and rust was evident in her closet. Certain hallways had an unlikable smell. By the swimming area, the pavement was uneven. These minor flaws, although not individually troublesome, collectively resulted in an environment that appeared neglected. The dining area was limited in size and operation time. After dining there, I experienced indigestion for the rest of the day! When inquiring about the tenure of the staff, I was never provided with a clear answer. There seemed to be a conspicuous lack of interaction between the residents and the staff, which wasn't surprising considering how spread-out everything was.

I would never have known about Lely Palms without A Place For Mom. Lely is the best kept secret in Naples. I was impressed by the location, the facilities, and especially the staff; many have been there over 10 years, which is rare. Everyone looked happy and content. Renee Gonzalez is the BEST. She is caring, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I felt like she really cared about my mom, not just filling a spot. I highly recommend Lely.

We found Manorcare at Lely Palms through A Place For Mom. They showed us several options in Naples, but we chose Manorcare because they provide a complete range of care.
