"Kind people, but less ideal cleanliness and location"
Our tour at Magnolia Manor was okay. People seemed kind. Cleanliness, location, parking, and modernity were less ideal.

"Safety Concerns and Subpar Renovation at Assisted Living Facility"
During our visit, the place was under construction. At first, it seemed pretty bad because there were things on the floor that could make you trip, even where they finished working. I tripped myself, which worries me for people who might have more trouble walking. The way they fixed things didn't seem very good, but maybe it's not entirely their fault. It made me think they care more about saving money than doing a good job.

I liked the activities, especially scenic drives, but ownership change reduced them.

"Feels Like Home with Great Care and Friendly Staff"
Moving our loved one to Magnolia Manor Assisted Living has been great. The place is wonderful and feels like home! The dining room is always nice, and the residents really get to know each other. The staff are very welcoming and make sure my loved one gets the care they need.

"Complaints of Neglect and Poor Food at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living"
My mom, she, born in 1917, is a cheerful, lively, and sharp woman despite being visually impaired, having arthritis in her hands, dealing with incontinence, and using a wheelchair.she used to go to Magnolia Manor for two days every week for over a year for day care services. The staff there were friendly, which was not the problem. However, she often mentioned the same issues – a lack of engaging activities or exercise for its members and the poor quality of their food. Despite their advertising stating otherwise, the food was not home-cooked and was often not even completely thawed. One of my main concerns was the lack of help provided to she when she needed to use the restroom. After coming home from Magnolia Manor, I often found her pull-ups and sometimes even her pants not fitting properly. Whenever I asked her, my mom would make excuses for why no one was around to assist her. The bathrooms there also lack any permanent alarms for residents to call for help, which with my mom's limitations, is a serious safety concern. I called several times to address the bathroom issue, but nothing ever changed. Even she insurance company ended up calling Magnolia Manor due to the unsafe conditions. The managers, and her daughter he, were often unresponsive and acted like they didn’t care about our problems.
