"Avoid This Facility: All Show, No Genuine Care!"
My mom-in-law just died after living, for five long years, in this place. She hardly received any care! The people running this spot are only bothered about the money they get every month. All showy but no actual concern when it comes down to it. DO NOT go here.

"Angels at Mangrove Bay Provide Loving Care for My Mom"
My mom first came to the Independent Living section of Mangrove Bay when she was 91. As her eyesight got worse, we decided it was time to move up to Assisted Living. After about 2 years, we felt that mom needed round-the-clock care and personalized attention. With help from the director, , we chose to transfer mom to the Memory Care Floor. Today, mom just celebrated her 96th birthday! The staff at Mangrove Bay are super caring and dedicated to all the people living there. I see this because I'm there nearly every day. The manager, [name removed], is always ready to talk to me about any worries or questions I have. She even gave me her personal phone number and told me to call her anytime. [Name removed], the activities director, is awesome. She got my mom involved in stuff when I thought nothing could help. Even though my mom has trouble seeing and hearing, [name removed] somehow manages to get my mom taking part in the daily program. The helpers and nurses are a really special group of people. They're always nice and comforting to my mom. I can't stop talking about how great the helpers are - they're like angels doing a thankless job. I think we made the best choice for my mom almost 5 years ago. The staff has helped us transition to different levels of care as mom's needs have changed. She just celebrated another birthday with cake made by another resident, balloons, a flower pin from Alma and everybody singing and cheering for her. I'm grateful to all the staff at Mangrove Bay. This includes Susan and all the other folks at the front desk, the drivers, and the maintenance guys. It might sound hard to believe, but when I visit mom almost every day, these people are my lights in the dark. They've become my friends who have a big job of looking after my mom.

"Outstanding Facility"
After looking at several facilities in the Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter area, my mom and I decided Mangrove Bay was the best option for her needs. Mom spent her last 3.5 years at Mangrove Bay, and they were some of her best years. The entire staff was wonderful, and the facility is spotless. Mom was always picky about cleanliness and often wouldn't eat in restaurants, but the staff took her into the kitchen, and she said it was clean and organized. From the first time we met with [name removed] and other staff members, Mom and my family felt comfortable and knew she was in excellent hands. Although Mom was in Independent Living, the staff looked after her and immediately called if there were any health concerns. I highly recommend this facility and couldn't be more pleased with everyone involved!

"Mangrove Bay provides excellent memory care and activities"
My mom stayed in memory care at Mangrove Bay for 15 months. The nurses, floor staff, activities team, kitchen staff, and executives all treated her with excellent care and respect. When we visited, we noticed how clean the place was. It had enough staff and always had daily activities for the residents, which is important for older folks to stay active. The way Mangrove's staff worked with hospice was great. We’d choose Mangrove again without any doubt.

"Rosalie's happy home at Mangrove Bay!"
Rosalie has been at Mangrove Bay for almost six years, spending two of those years in one of the Villas. She just moved from Independent Living to Assisted Living, and there was no doubt she'd stay at Mangrove Bay. She feels safe, at home, and truly happy here. Her move to Assisted Living went really well thanks to the amazing staff, especially Carol, the Marketing Director, the Assisted Living Director, the Resident Coordinator, and the Assisted Living team. They are all great assets to Mangrove Bay. Since we live far away in Florida, we face the challenge of remote caregiving. After many visits, we are sure she’s in the right place. Mangrove Bay is a lovely, family-oriented community where residents become friends and family. From her first move from the Villa to Independent Living, the Resident Coordinator has been a great help. She is enthusiastic, always smiling, and ready to assist. No problem is too big for her; she finds solutions quickly and follows up. The staff and residents are caring, friendly, and compassionate. The Independent Living Recreation Director organizes many fun activities, and Beverly runs great exercise programs to keep everyone active. The joyful atmosphere in the lounge is thanks to the cheerful staff member who not only serves drinks but also gives personal attention to each resident.

Mangrove Bay Senior Living is a fantastic place! It really feels like a true community. They offer a great living experience with plenty of activities for everyone. The staff is wonderful and caring. The Resident Coordinator made my mom's move to Independent Living so much easier. She was always ready to help with a smile and clearly loves her job and the residents. The Executive Director also does a great job running this senior living community. I highly recommend Mangrove Bay. I'm so glad my mom is living here.

"Excellent staff and activities make Mangrove Bay a top choice."
My wife and I have lived at Mangrove Bay for over a year. We chose this place because it’s close to our family, including our great-grandchildren. We’ve been very happy with both the Independent and Assisted Living sections. The staff is excellent and genuinely wants everyone to feel at home. Special requests are handled with care. The staff, especially in Assisted Living, works hard to create a "family-like" atmosphere where everyone feels special. The facility is well-maintained, both inside and out, and we’re proud to have family and friends visit. The activities are varied and enjoyable for those who want to join in. The management team works hard to get guests involved and improve our lifestyle. Mangrove Bay’s location by the water in Florida and its excellent medical facilities make it a fantastic place to live!

I’ve lived at Mangrove Bay for 13 years, and it’s been a great experience. I really like my apartment and its location. The staff is super helpful and well-trained. They make us feel like part of the Mangrove Bay Family. Betty Hall helps me with exercises in the nice fitness room. Betty Hall and the drivers take care of all my transportation needs, which is important since I’m legally blind. Our Director, is always available and very caring. The dining room hostess and servers create a pleasant eating environment. Chef cooks wonderfully, though I think he could use more variety in what he prepares. I would recommend Mangrove Bay to anyone looking for a senior retirement home.

My dear friend lived at Mangrove Bay for eight years until she recently passed away. I highly recommend Mangrove Bay because the staff was excellent. They were always caring and kind, treating my friend with respect and dignity, and they addressed my concerns right away. The community is spotless. The staff works hard to get all residents involved in activities, even those who were reluctant like my friend. "My Positive Experience at Mangrove Bay as a Resident"
I’ve lived here for 8 months, and it’s been great! The staff is really kind, skilled, and quick to help. I can bring my pet, which is a big plus. Mangrove Bay has a nice area for walking pets, and the gardens are beautiful. People have a lot of fun in the lounge, where drinks are served well. There are plenty of activities and trips to cool places. They also provide transportation to doctors, shopping, and other personal needs. The dining room is nice, and the food is good, but sometimes the seating can feel a bit messy. You need to make reservations for tables of four. I've made some good friends here. Overall, I think this is a wonderful place for me.

My mother moved to Florida to be close to her kids. We checked out all the independent and assisted living places in a 20-mile area, and Mangrove Bay was the best. When it was time for her to move from independent living to assisted living, the staff helped make it a smooth transition. "Grateful Daughter of a Happy Mom"
My mom has been at Mangrove Bay Assisted Living. She initially lived in another Assisted Living in North Carolina, then moved in with me in Florida. I felt she needed a community to meet friends and live a normal life even with dementia. After looking at several places, we chose Mangrove Bay. The beautiful setting and the caring staff impressed me immediately. The staff and director were as concerned about me as they were about Mom. If Mom mentioned wanting to play bridge, it was arranged the next day. The staff promptly returned my emails and calls, addressing any worries. Mom loves the beauty and activities at Mangrove Bay. Now she needs more one-on-one care, and I can sleep at night knowing the staff genuinely care about her. They refer to her as family and treat me the same way. This has been the hardest part of my life, giving up my career to care for Mom, but Mangrove Bay has relieved so much stress. The meals, activities, trips, and scenic rides are all enjoyable and exciting. They even send me pictures of Mom dancing and having fun when I can't be there. I couldn't be happier with Mangrove Bay.

"Top-notch Memory Care with Compassionate Staff"
I've had the pleasure of working with Mangrove Bay's staff for 10 years. As a Professional Care Manager and Registered Nurse, I've sent many families and clients to their memory care unit. I'm impressed by how quickly they handle crises and the compassion of their team. This unit has fewer residents than most places, which helps them offer great care for those with dementia. They have daily activities, including music and reminiscence therapy, and the food is good. I've dined there myself several times.

"A Warm and Caring Home for All"
Mangrove Bay wasn’t what I originally had in mind for retirement. I had dreamed of traveling the country in an RV. But life had different plans. After my wife of 52 years got dementia and I had two surgeries, we were told we couldn’t live alone anymore. My daughter did some research and found several senior communities, but she felt Mangrove Bay was the best choice. She was right! When my wife and I moved into an independent living apartment, we were welcomed like family. The staff is friendly and skilled, and the other residents made us feel like we were long-lost relatives. Eventually, my wife’s dementia got worse, and I couldn’t take care of her alone, so we moved her to the assisted living unit. Her care there was exceptional. Since we lived in the same community, I could visit her multiple times a day. She received great care until she passed away. I decided to stay at Mangrove Bay and plan to spend the rest of my life here. It feels like home, and I have over a hundred “cousins” here.

"The Best Choice for Assisted Living."
My mom lived in Independent Living at Mangrove Bay. When her health got worse, she had to move to Assisted Living. At first, she didn’t want to leave Independent Living because she liked it there and didn’t want to be in Assisted Living. So, we moved her to a place that only had Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was awful! She said it felt like a "nursing home," which was her biggest fear. After just 17 days, she moved back to Mangrove Bay’s Assisted Living. Now, she’s really happy and says she feels "at home" there! Making these kinds of decisions is tough, but the staff at Mangrove Bay are amazing and make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend Mangrove Bay for your loved ones!

"Deceiving Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises"
We moved him out. Our experience wasn't good with this place, even though they promised us two on-duty nurses and six assistant nurses at all times. But, that's not what happened. They're good people, just understaffed. Sometimes, it took an hour for someone to come when we called for help. One time, he fell and no one came for an hour. They had about 15 patients in memory care, but not enough staff. I wish they’d been more upfront. Once we paid, the good service stopped. Once, when he was bleeding, it took the nurse more than an hour to come, and he was on medication that made it risky. They had a couple of activities a week, around lunchtime, and the activities director was nice. The food wasn’t good though. The Key Lime pie I tried was awful and breakfast was always the same, including cold eggs. They never offered water, and the portions they served were often too small for him. I selected this place because it was nearby. It's a beautiful facility, and at first, they were super nice. They promised to watch him closely for the first week and to update me, but after our first meeting the head nurse was never around again. They couldn't even get his paperwork ready in time for his doctor's visit after four days' notice. It felt like a deceitful show just to get us in the door and take our money.
