"Assisted Living Disappoints: Poor Care, Food Shortages"
My dad lived in another place, but I moved him closer to my home. The lady who sold us on the place was really nice. She promised that if my dad fell, they'd help him up. But they didn't. Instead, they just called an ambulance every time. After a while, my dad had to go to rehab. When he was ready to come back to his apartment, they said he needed someone with him all the time because they couldn't take care of him properly. The food was terrible. One night, all my dad could eat was yogurt cups or jello, and I got really mad about that. They said they ran out of food and that Monday was the cook's day off.

"Friendly Staff and Convenient Location"
I think the staff I've met are really friendly and seem to genuinely like their jobs. They're also very friendly with the people who live here. We picked this place for my dad because it's super close to our house, and the cost is reasonable.

"Caring Staff at Merrill Gardens"
Things began well, but when my loved one’s health worsened, it seemed they no longer wanted him. We quickly interviewed six communities and chose Merrill Gardens due to its proximity. Most staff members are caring and committed to the community.

"Mixed experience: Great staff and activities, poor food. Recommended."
The places not reaching 4 stars need some fixing. The fun things to do and the workers are really great. Unfortunately, the food is terrible. Still, considering our time at Merrill Gardens at Solivita Marketplace, we'd suggest it to other families.

"Poor Care and Lack of Responsiveness at Merrill Gardens"
My mom lives at Merrill Gardens, an assisted living facility. When she had covid, they just left her in her lonely room with barely any help from the nurse. Now, she might have the stomach flu or maybe even food poisoning. Nobody's there to help her out. The front desk won't even pick up the phone. We had to call the ambulance ourselves. This place isn't right for my mom. You can't trust them to provide care when it's really needed. Isn't that what assisted living is supposed to be about?

"Clean and welcoming community with excellent amenities and helpful staff."
Our first impression was that the place is really clean. The office people did a good job showing us around and talked to us about everything included. They also mentioned different discounts for us to sign up for. The restaurant there is really good, and we've been impressed since day one.

"Friendly staff and residents make this place feel like home"
I really like it here! When I arrived, everyone was so friendly and made me excited to be here. The staff and residents are great. I mostly stay in my apartment, but I love going for a walk around the building and grounds in the mornings. Everyone I meet always says hello and is very kind.

"Great Value and Caring Staff, but Slow Responses"
I would definitely recommend this place to others because of the good value and caring staff. The Executive Director can be a bit slow in responding to family requests. My loved one likes the food. There are activities for the residents if they want to join in.
