"Nurse uses own phone for FaceTime, goes above and beyond"
Today, I called to talk to my best friend of over 50 years. A wonderful, caring nurse made it happen. She used her own phone to FaceTime my friend, and we had an amazing conversation. I want to honor [name] for going above and beyond for both patients and their families. She is a hero!

"Cheerful Atmosphere Lacking at Palm's Edge Assisted Living"
When you step into Palm's Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care, you walk straight into a crowded and sad dining room. He is friendly and knows his stuff. He cares about the residents, but our mom wouldn't like it here. She wants a happier place.

"Dull Atmosphere at Palm's Edge; Not the Place for Mom"
As soon as you step into Palm's Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care, you're smack dab in the middle of their dining hall. It's quite packed and gives off a gloomy vibe. is a really awesome guy who knows what he's doing and he genuinely cares about the folks living there. But, we don't think our mom would like it here. She wants a place that's lively and bright.

"Wonderful place for mom!"
We had a fantastic experience at Palms Edge. They gave my mother a loving home for almost three years. Each staff member provided her with tender, loving care. The place is neat, clean, and professional, with residents' care as the top priority.

"Critical Review of No-Weekend-Tours Assisted Living Facility"
I reached out to the place last Friday. They've got no tours available on Saturdays! Imagine setting up a tour that isn't even doable. I squeezed in a visit on my own lunch break last Friday - not the best timing for me. This joint is a total disaster! I wouldn't wish such a place on my biggest foe. Doesn't even rate a single star.

"Assisted Living: Smooth Talk, Poor Service"
The boss talks smooth, like a salesman. Beds sell, but moving in's a letdown. Staff changes, late meals, wrong meds. Help needed for grooming. Bad talk between aides and staff. Share issues, labeled a troublemaker, ignored. Family feels uncared for.

"Lured, Let Down and Labelled Troublemaker"
The director of this assisted living facility is persuasive, he knows how to sell the place. Despite this, once the paperwork's complete, and you've moved in, the reality is disappointing. Staff turnover is a glaring problem. Meals are often delayed, with lengthy waits of up to half an hour at the table. There have been several instances of erroneous medication administration. Residents need more assistance with basic tasks like grooming and hygiene. The communication between aides and staff is poor. The most frustrating part is being labeled disruptive when trying to constructively voice concerns and offer solutions. The response from staff and aides makes us feel like our issues don't matter to them.

"Great facility with friendly, attentive staff!"
I have visited many facilities over the years. I liked seeing one that was well organized and focused on the residents. The staff was polite, direct, friendly, and fun. I would recommend Palms Edge to anyone looking for a place for a loved one.
