"Friendly Staff and Activities Shine at This Assisted Living Community"

The food doesn’t always match the menu, which can be disappointing. But the friendly staff and social activities make it one of the nicest communities in the area.

"Thank you, Grand Villa staff!"

The staff at Grand Villa was very helpful in making the transition for Dad. They made a really stressful situation much easier. The care and attention he has received since moving in has been more than I could have ever expected.

"Praise and Concerns For Princeton Village"

We've utilized Princeton Village to give my family member a break, and for the most part, they're decent. The place itself is appealing and the staff seems kind. But an issue arose when they mishandled our medicine regimen. My relative luckily spotted the mix-up before ingesting the wrong meds. So, I'd say other families should keep an eye out for this kind of slip-up too for their folks.

"Unprepared for Alzheimer's Care"

This place isn't suited for folks with Alzheimer's. Their parking is okay, but the real issue is they claim to offer care for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients, yet they don't have what's needed to really look after these people.

"Positive Aspects But Issues with Clothes Mismanagement"

The management could do a better job here as my mom's clothes keep getting misplaced or lost, even though her name is written in many places on every outfit. They don't make much of an effort to resolve these clothing issues. There is no doctor on hand for residents since her current doctor only visits once a month from Orlando. They didn't tell us this at first visit. On the bright side, it's great that they have a good range of activities for the residents and different room sizes to choose from. The staff is friendly and they're patient and helpful with my mom when it comes to dressing, giving her medications, and moving around.

"Warm Welcome, Clean Spaces, Abundant Activities: Excellent Assisted Living!"

We walked in and Gigi greeted us. She took us to a nice dining room where we had a yummy meal. Gigi answered all our questions. The place was clean and not crowded. We met other friendly staff members. None of the residents came up to us, and we didn't chat with any of them. We got a tour of the Assisted Living Facility and Memory Care Center. Then, Gigi drove us to an empty Villa. There's a waitlist for these and the smaller units. They were big, clean, and well-kept. The gardens looked nice too. They don't have a gym on site, but a bus takes residents to nearby ones. There's a screened porch with a view of natural wetlands. Gigi said they're protected, so the place will stay quiet in the future. The Village is only 5 years old, with just 89 residents. They're not planning to expand. You can try living there for 30 days before deciding. They have a thorough interview and orientation program for new residents. The Village plans activities every day, and residents also plan group activities. Family and friends can visit and eat with residents for free. Each Villa has a washer/dryer and full kitchen. Everything is monitored, and residents wear alert buttons. You can leave with 30 days' notice, or there's a one-year lease you can break. The Village is near Bunnell but is in Palm Coast city limits. It's on a street with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We liked it and will consider showing it to my parents.
