"Stay Clear: Negligent Staff and Safety Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"

Please stay away from this facility. My family has been through nothing but trouble, mainly with the staff working at night. Unexplained accidents and more, things have gone too far. Last night, a male resident was let into my grandma's room and tried to harm her, the night staff was missing. They showed up to help her after she managed to defend herself. They woke up the nursing manager, not us. She said unless something is severe, she doesn't want to be disturbed. We didn't learn about this until 10am the next day, and that's only because the morning caregiver noticed the physical signs of the assault and her missing hair where the man pulled it. We are shifting her at the earliest possible. They even let male residents show themselves to female residents, say inappropriate things, and more. I have reported them to the relevant authorities. I only want to warn other families. NEVER send your mom here.

"Housekeeping Lapses"

In an assisted living facility, my grandmother resided in the memory care unit. The aides were wonderful, but I couldn’t help noticing that the housekeeper, who had been there for a while, wasn’t keeping up with room cleanliness. During my visit, I encountered feces on the bathroom walls, an unclean shower, and dusty rooms. Despite these issues, the facility offers great activities. However, I overheard the housekeeper telling a resident not to drink coffee and to leave because she was mopping—ironically, she was the one with seniority.

"Inadequate Staffing Damages Trust In Assisted Living Facility"

This place is subpar, don't trust the high ratings. It's seriously undermanned and needs more employees.

"Poor staffing and management threaten quality care at Rose Castle."

Just because a place looks nice, doesn't automatically make it good. Rose Castle always seems to lack enough staff. Their dementia care unit is far from excellent. The level of supervision is very low, and they lack understanding towards their residents. The executive director and director of nursing are tough to communicate with. It seems like they're only interested in money. Visit frequently and keep an eye out, it won't take long before you notice big problems with how they take care of their residents.

"Rosecastle: Looks Good, Poor Care and Money-Oriented"

Although a place may look good, it's not always a great place...Rosecastle can't keep enough staff, and their memory unit is far from the best. The supervision isn't good, and they don't show much empathy to the people who live there. You won't be able to communicate easily with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing. The place seems like it only cares about making money. Make sure to visit regularly and pay attention... it won't take long before you start noticing serious problems with the resident's care.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

My dad stayed briefly at this place, but I can't fully recommend the memory care part. The other areas are nice and well-maintained. However, his room in the memory care section wasn't cleaned during his stay. The staff in the main part were great though. Dad enjoyed the food, and they have some activities available.
