"Inadequate Care and Poor Cleanliness at Assisted Living Facility"
The cleanliness level of this assisted living center is dreadfully bad, a horrible odor is noticeable throughout the whole building and it's even worse in the memory care section. The people who work here are not trained appropriately and sadly, the residents suffer falls over and over during a single shift because no one bothers to watch over them. The high-level management does not even enforce the necessary rules for their staff, so as long as they show up, they get their paycheck! I have to go in myself to look after my own mom. I'm left wondering why I'm shelling out this crazy amount of money, when I end up doing all it takes to care for her myself! The lies from upper management are baffling, always filled with excuses - we're getting to it, we'll do better next time, but there is never any real change. The Executive Director has the staff write false good reviews of the place to overshadow honest ones. If there is a bad review, the staff is advised to complain about it until Google removes it. This way, you never see the truthful reviews. Find a better place for your parents, please! Look for a center that will truly care for their wellbeing, not like this place where the staff is glued to their phones all day, barely interacting with the residents.

"Mixed Experience"
We had a nice experience at Savannah Grand. Everyone was friendly, and the spacious rooms were great. Unfortunately, they couldn’t meet my mom’s care needs. I’m still waiting for a refund after her passing.

"Assisted living staff are caring but short-staffed, recommend for loved ones."
The staff does a good job, but they are short-staffed right now. I would recommend this community for loved ones. The staff makes efforts to involve residents in various activities.

"Happy with care, but issue with emergency communication"
We recently had an issue with the community. Our loved one had to go to the hospital, but when we called the community many times, no one answered. However, before that, we were very happy with everything.

"Nice facility, but food could improve"
The rooms here are a good size. We picked this place because it's close to family and it's the nicest one we found. The food isn't great though; it's kind of plain and could be better. I know they don't use much salt because of diet rules.

"Great care and activities for mom"
We really like the care my mom gets here. The community is clean, and the staff is kind and attentive to her needs. We enjoy the meals, which have a good variety. They also offer fun activities for the residents to join. We recommend this community for its excellent care.

"Everything is going well for my family here!"
Everything is going really well for my sister and her husband since they moved to this community. It’s a safe, nice place, and they’re happy with their move. It has worked out well for our family. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

"A Happy Home at Savannah Grand of Amelia Island"
I have a lovely, bright room with a patio that I really enjoy. I get three tasty meals every day, an afternoon snack, and round-the-clock care. Someone brings me my medications and helps me with my showers. If I need to see the Doctor, he’s right here for us. The Doctor even comes to help us with our toenails. We have a great time playing BINGO, Trivia, Poker, Scrabble, Crafts, Painting, and so much more. We also have fun parties with our families and friends. It took a little time to adjust to not being in my own home anymore, but there’s no other place I’d rather be!

"Best care and loving attention at Savannah Grand!"
My mother has lived at Savannah Grand since 2007. She has received the best, most caring, and professional care every day. Both she and I have thought of this place as her home since she moved in. As the son of a 99-year-old mother, I can’t imagine anywhere else like Savannah Grand for her to get such amazing care and love from the staff. Savannah Grand of Amelia Island gets my highest recommendation as the best place for your loved ones to receive the care they need and that you want for them.
