My brother passed away in late February, and he hardly spent time at the facility due to hospitalizations and physical therapy. But from what we experienced, I wouldn't choose Silver Creek, and I wouldn't suggest it to others. It's crucial to ensure that the physical, medical, and mental needs of the resident match what the facility can offer.

"Facility refused mom after emergency surgery, left scrambling."
They said they'd look after my mom even as her health got worse. But, when she needed urgent stomach surgery and ended up with a colostomy bag, they wouldn't let her return. We were left in a rush trying to find a skilled nursing home.

"Neglectful and Unresponsive Staff a Major Issue at Assisted Living Facility"
I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Finding the staff is always difficult. They never return phone calls, and there's never anyone to talk to if there are problems. The building looks nice, but everything they say when you're checking it out isn't true at all. They really don't seem to care about the people living there — they never check on them or talk to them or help them with anything. My mom passed away and was in the hospital for 10 days — not one person called me to see how she was doing. I had to call them to let them know she passed away, and it took me three days of calling. I even had to just walk into the business administrator's office because no one would call me back to set up a meeting. I still haven't gotten a call back, and it's been since the ,

Our family visited Silver Creek. It was our second favorite. We liked everything we saw, but Dad preferred another place. The rooms were a bit small, and he wouldn't have been happy with the location of his room.

The folks didn't bother picking up the broken glass in my family member's room. Bath stuff like shampoo was scattered everywhere. The promises made by the salespeople fell through. I didn't have a good experience with Silver Creek. I definitely wouldn't let my family member stay there again. I can't figure out why the employees weren't looking out for my loved one. All the meals were just carbs.

"Memory Care Section Falls Short in Assisted Living Facility"
This review is about our time at Silver Creek during Covid. I wouldn't suggest the memory section. It's tough to treat them well as they forget a lot and it's hard to trust what they say. My family member started in assisted living. They set up her room nicely, and she cherished her pictures. Then she moved to the memory care section, but they didn't hang up her pictures or arrange things properly. I only realized this after she passed away. It was terrible. Most people I talked to were nice, but not the staff on her floor. Calling her there was difficult. I feel they don't do well in the memory ward. I couldn't visit much, so I'm unsure about her care. She fell many times. I could only visit once every 1-2 weeks for half an hour near the door, so I couldn't interact with her much.

I visited Silver Creek while searching for a home for my family member. It seemed like a nice place, but we had seen another place before that we liked more. It had more things that would suit my family member better.

My parents are doing great since they moved to this community. I feel comfortable with their decision, and everything is going smoothly. The place is nice and clean when I visit. They serve good meals, and my parents have tried some of the available activities. The staff takes good care of them and their needs. I would recommend this community.

"Wonderful place for Grandma, full of fun activities!"
My family and I are really happy with this community and everything they’re doing for my grandmother. She keeps telling us how much she loves it here. The other residents have welcomed her warmly, and the staff is great too. She stays busy with the awesome activities and events they have every week. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend it to anyone!

"A Caring and Comfortable Community"
The caregivers at Silver Creek are really attentive to my parents. We communicate well with them. They have lots of daily activities. The food is great. The place is clean and well-kept. I feel good about my parents living here and would recommend checking it out.

"A Wonderful Atmosphere for Your Loved One"
They go above and beyond, and it's been a blessing. They had the best price and location I wanted. I love their constant communication and how they send me pictures of my dad participating in activities. They have many activities. They know all the residents' names, and when I walk in, they know my name. It's a warm and friendly place where my dad is happy, and we love it.

"So happy we moved Mom here!"
My mother was one of the first residents at Silver Creek. She was at another place in St. Augustine and was very unhappy. I can't say enough good things about the staff. What she loves the most is the food! Their prices are very affordable, and we're paying less now than we did before. We are so glad we moved her here.

"Excited for a Wonderful New Home"
I'm really looking forward to this assisted living facility opening! I've already reserved a unit for my parents. The building looks amazing from the outside, and the staff I've met are super passionate and caring. I actually walked in by mistake before it was ready, but even with construction still going on, I was impressed with what I saw. The staff in the sales trailer were great too! There have been some delays, but I think it'll be worth the wait.

"Promising Assisted Living Facility Under Construction Impresses Visitors"
This place is getting a makeover, so I couldn't check out the rooms or hangout areas. But the designs they've got planned are pretty neat, like how they're dividing up the hallways into smaller sections and putting gathering spots in each wing. They're also going for top-notch activities and tech, all backed by science. The folks I talked to there were super nice and knew their stuff. Overall, I was really impressed! My only worry is that I couldn't see the finished product or meet the staff and residents yet.
