"Sonata Assisted Living Facility: Caring Image with Uncompassionate Practices"
When I was looking for a home for my out-of-state aunt, I found Sonata. I had a positive reaction at first - they visited her twice at her rehab and acted like they cared about her personally. I filled out all the paperwork and paid for May and June, along with the community fee. She only stayed there for 4 days before going to the hospital on a certain date. Nobody from Sonata visited her in the hospital or at the hospice. I rushed from Texas as soon as possible, but she died on another particular date. Now, Sonata says they won't give me a full refund for June like they previously promised, only the days after I picked up her clothes. They never said this had to be done when I informed them she wouldn't be coming back after being placed in hospice. I assumed Sonata was unique, but they're not. They're a business and they only care about the money.

"Location Concerns"
This place is pleasant, but the location isn’t my favorite.

"Personalized care in a clean, friendly community"
The place is smaller than others, so they get more personalized care. The place is kept clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would tell others to come here based on my experience.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Tour Experience"
We visited this assisted living place in person. It felt too small, and the services they offered were very limited. They seemed to brag about what they could do, but it didn't impress us. It looked like they couldn't manage the community well, or maybe not at all.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Expectations"
There were some things I wasn't happy about. I wanted my loved one on the first floor because he has trouble with his memory and navigating stairs. He got upset because he kept setting off alarms, feeling like he was bothering others. He always tried to be helpful, especially in the dining room, but I had to ask staff to make sure he went down for meals because he often forgot. When I went to check on him, no one was there to greet me, and they didn't know where he was. Eventually, they found him in another room. They weren't making sure he went to dinner on time, leaving the decision up to him. I ended up taking him out of the facility, but they still charged me for the rest of the month and even came to collect the next month's payment because I didn't give them enough notice.

"Friendly, caring staff made a tough time better"
We took my mom to a place with the friendliest staff ever! They were so nice it felt unreal, but it was totally genuine. The staff was caring and professional, making a tough time feel warm and nice. Every person there was a blessing, and I'm forever grateful to them! and no, I don't work there LOL.

It was a great tour. The staff were friendly, and lunch was enjoyable. The community was nice with daily activities. It seemed good, but I thought my mom might need more help.

"Memory Care Community Shines with New Owners"
This place has new owners who are sprucing things up. They’re redoing floors and carpets, and the community stays clean. The management is friendly and helpful, and most aides are too. Food’s okay. They offer daily activities and entertainment. Overall, they’re doing well for memory care.

"Friendly and well-kept, but not the right fit"
I visited this place for my father-in-law. The tour was nice, and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They keep the community clean and well-maintained. Although it was a good place, it didn't fit all our needs.

"Satisfactory Assisted Living Experience"
I have mostly been happy with this place. I was worried because my dad fell while I was visiting, and even though we paid for the life alert system they offer, it didn't work when we needed it. The staff here are really friendly and they treated my dad well. They took good care of him and checked on him regularly during the day. The dining experience was quite good, and overall we were pretty satisfied with everything.
