"Loved One Lacked Nearby Family Support"
The community was nice, but our loved one didn't have family nearby.

"Care Home Prioritizes Profit Over Care for Fall-risk Residents"
This care home shouldn't have admitted him because he fell four times in less than two weeks, ended up in the hospital every other day and they were just not capable of managing his needs. It was a terrible ordeal. The place is great only if your family member is not prone to falls. It seems they're more concerned about their profit than the actual people they're supposed to be caring for.

"Good tour but not a perfect fit"
This tour was good. However, we didn't feel it was a good fit for our loved one. They only had a double room available at the time. I also didn't think it was secure enough for memory patients.

"Great care, nice facility, and convenient location for family"
We’ve had a great experience at Sonata Vero Beach. We picked this place because it’s close to family and nicer than other options. The medical services are also better here. They have doctors and specialists who visit, so he doesn’t need to leave. He also wanted a place with a pool, and this facility has one. Plus, they accept Medicare for future needs. He’s getting excellent care, and we’re very happy. I would recommend them.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms"
The building is nice, and there's an unsupervised swimming pool, which could be a good thing. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly.

"Settled In Comfortably"
My father has settled in really well here, and I feel good about his move. Everyone has been so kind and friendly. The staff is always there to help when needed, and I feel like he’s in safe hands. Every time I visit, the community and his room are clean and well-kept. They serve good meals, and there are activities for the residents whenever they’re ready to join in. This place has been a great fit for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends.

"Friendly Staff and Great Activities!!"
I met a lot of really friendly people during my tour of the community. It’s a pet-friendly place, which is a big plus! They offer fun activities like cooking, trivia, and art classes. They also have special diet meals to meet the residents' needs, and the meals are healthy. The community was spotless, and everything looked great!

"Assisted Living Facility Experience Lacked Smoothness"
This place disappointed me a bit. The chief salesman and advertising person should've known her job and the facility better. I had a tough time sorting out my dad's admission—I ran into several snags. Worst of all, the sales director was gone, right when I needed her guidance. She wouldn't even call me back until three days later! She also said my dad would have a portable necklace communicator in the building, but then we discovered that they didn't have that. Not cool. Even after I paid the down payment and monthly rent, they didn't follow up well. My dad says his room and food are just okay.

"Good Stay, But Moving for Family Proximity"
When my folks switched from their house to a care place, we picked Horizon Bay at first. But we soon realized we wanted them nearer to us. So, we’re planning to shift them. Their stay at Horizon Bay was pretty okay. The people working there are kind and good-hearted, but they didn’t really get my parents to join in the fun stuff. Because of this, Mom often missed out. Besides that, it’s been all right.

"Not Perfect, But Decent Time at Horizon Bay"
My folks switched from their house to Horizon Bay's assisted living. We initially thought this was the best choice, but we soon realized we wanted them nearer to us. So, we're planning to move them. Their stay at Horizon Bay was alright. The people there are friendly and kind, but they didn't push for them to join in activities, so Mom often missed out. Besides that, things were fine.

"Slow getting the ball rolling with my Dad’s care, but better now"
They’ve got some new staff there, and things have changed a lot. I think they should’ve given my dad a checklist during the first week or two to make sure everything got started properly. Unfortunately, they missed doing his laundry, and the doctor didn’t visit him for a while. It took some time, but things are better now. After talking to the director, he made sure my dad’s needs were met.

"Friendly Staff But Needs Better Flavored Food"
The meals are kinda plain. We know they're cooking for tons of folks with different diets and they do offer options to add spice. But, it'd be nice if a few dishes had more taste. Aside from that, all the staff are friendly, attentive, and supportive without being too pushy or in your face.

"A Friendly Community with Great Care and Activities"
Horizon Bay Vero Beach is an amazing place. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the people are super friendly. This community deserves a 5-star rating! Everything is kept very nice, and the value is excellent. The caregivers do a fantastic job taking care of the residents. Plus, there are lots of fun activities to enjoy. My mother and I have had a great experience here, and she is really happy living here.

"Clean, Friendly, and Perfect Services"
A Place for Mom was really helpful. I wasn’t sure where or how to find a good place for my mom and dad. After looking at several options, I felt this was the best fit. It had everything we needed clean, great staff, and all the services they required.

"Wonderful Place!"
They do a fantastic job here! They've helped my loved one in many ways. The care is great, and they've helped him make friends and be more social! The food is very good, a nice change from other places he's stayed! I like that there are generous meal windows and that snacks and staple foods are always available. The staff are all friendly and caring. The aide staff do a great job, and even the administrative staff genuinely care about the residents. We've experienced quite a few communities, and this is the first place that felt like home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for care in the area!

"Great, but Larger"
It's awesome, but the bigger size worried us because she's legally blind. Overall, we loved it—the people and the facility were wonderful!
