"Great Assisted Living Choice!"

Sonata Viera is a great place to consider if it meets your family member's needs. Compared to other local options, it really stands out. They offer plenty of activities to keep residents engaged throughout the day. Although it took some time for my loved one to adjust, she's doing well there now and enjoys the food. The cost is on the higher side, but it's competitive with other places.

"Decent Tour, Facility Needs a Refresh"

Our family went to see the place in person, and the guide gave us lots of details. The tour was okay, but we felt it wasn’t the right fit for us. The place could use some updates and a bit more charm to look nicer.

"Small Rooms"

I liked Sonata, but the rooms are too small for two people. Maybe it's something we have to live with.

"Room for Improvement in Food and Cleanliness"

My sister lives there. The place is nice, staff's kind. But the food needs serious help. It's bland, cold, and unappetizing. They can do better without spending loads. Cleaning rooms needs work too, but food's the biggie.

"Awaiting Improved Conditions Post-Renovations"

I know it will be much better when the renovations are finished.

"Bad food, understaffed, staff arguments, unsanitary conditions - we left quickly."

The food quality here is really gross - imagine eating slimy puree. The dessert is usually fruit cocktail out of a can, almost every single day. They are really short-staffed as well. The same people who prepare and serve the food also have to bring residents from their rooms to the dining area, causing loads of wasted time. I even saw employees fighting among themselves right in front of the residents! This had a negative impact on my mother's day. Plus, I found a medicine pill lying on the hallway floor. We couldn't leave this place fast enough.

"Terrible Food, Staff Shortages, and Arguments at Assisted Living Facility"

The meals here are terrible; they always serve crummy mush and canned fruit cocktail for dessert, pretty much every day. There aren't enough workers. The same people who cook and serve the food are also responsible for getting all residents to their meals, so there's a lot of extra waiting around. Workers arguing right in front of the residents was often the most exciting part of my mom's day. I even found a pill lying on a hallway floor once. We couldn't leave this place fast enough.

"Great Care at Sonata Viera! Highly Recommend!"

Our time at Sonata Viera was amazing! The owner and the staff were super nice and really helpful. I felt good knowing my loved one was well taken care of while I was away. When my loved one needs full-time care, Sonata will be my top choice. I definitely recommend it!

"Great place for mom: friendly, active, and clean"

Sonata Viera is a great place for my mom. She's so busy, the facility is very clean and smells nice. The atmosphere is very upbeat, like a second chance at life. She's no longer alone while everyone is at work. She's making friends, and it's so good for her mental health. The staff encourages her to join in. They even go to her room to invite her to activities. There are so many things she enjoys like sewing, bead work, baking, and ice cream socials. They also take them shopping or out to eat. The food is delicious and healthy, with other choices if she doesn't like what's being served. They have porches with rocking chairs to enjoy the fresh air and sidewalks for exercise. It's a good, clean place for her. We highly recommend this community to friends and family.

"Happy Home!"

Sonata Viera is a wonderful place for my mom. She stays busy, and the place is super clean and smells good. The vibe is really positive, like a fresh start. She's not alone anymore while everyone else is at work. She's making friends, which is great for her mood. The staff is super nice and always invites her to join activities. There are tons of things she likes to do, like sewing, beadwork, and baking. They even have ice cream parties! Plus, they give rides for shopping or eating out. The food is yummy and healthy, and if she doesn't like something, there are other options. They have nice porches with rocking chairs and sidewalks for walks. It's a really good, clean place for her. We'd totally recommend it to friends and family!

"Friendly, Clean, and Perfect for Mom"

My mom didn’t want to go into assisted living at first, but after we visited Sonata Viera, she was really happy. The person who helped with the first arrangements was very friendly and patient. All the staff was welcoming, and the residents looked well cared for and neat. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and cheerful. I’m so relieved that my mom is happy and safe here.

"Great place for military veterans and their families!"

I was really impressed with how many retired military veterans live here and how much they are honored. The whole place was in great shape, and out of all the facilities I checked out, this one was probably the nicest. They also give a ten percent discount for military families who want to move in. I had a fantastic experience overall and would definitely recommend this place.

"Review: Assistance At This Facility Falls Short"

The assistance here isn't great.

"Better for Ex-Military, Not Cozy for Her"

It felt like it was made more for people who were in the army before. It didn’t seem like a place where she would feel at home.

"Two Months and Thriving"

My sister-in-law has been at Viera Manor for about two months and she seems happy with her experience so far. The staff we've met are attentive to her needs, especially since she has many requirements. Her room is on the first floor, which is convenient for participating in activities. However, her consistent complaint is that, as a wheelchair user, she often gets left behind in the dining room or during activities.

"Amazing Care and Value at Viera Manor"

My in-laws have been living at Viera Manor for over 2.5 years, moving in just two months after it opened. I looked at over 100 assisted living facilities in Florida and California and visited about 20 before choosing Viera Manor. The management and staff have been fantastic. The facilities are great, and the room sizes are just right. They help my father-in-law and mother-in-law in so many ways. One important thing for me was having nurses available 24/7, and very few places offer that. The location near the VA clinic has also been a big plus. I’ve tried meals at many facilities and eaten at Viera Manor about 25 times. The meals are healthy, balanced, and really good. I did find one place that had restaurant-quality food, but it cost over $1,400 more each month and had much less nurse support. After 2.5 years, I still give Viera Manor a 5-star rating. I visit about 20% of the year, so I see how everything runs. Thanks to the amazing staff, our family sleeps well knowing my in-laws are getting great care and comfort.

"Dad’s doing well and loves it here"

Dad is doing great at Viera Manor Assisted Living. He enjoys the friendly people, and the staff keeps a close watch on him, calling me if they have questions. The place has an ice cream parlor, TVs, games, and a big veranda where residents love to relax. The property itself is beautiful. There was only one time when the staff missed getting Dad for a meal, but my sister was already with him. Overall, I’m very happy with Viera Manor—it’s been a good experience.
