"“Caring Staff, Mixed Management”"
Some of the staff are truly amazing! We adore them. However, I have concerns about upper management. The driver and the aide, who are absolutely wonderful to my Mom, go above and beyond with their kindness and patience.

"Rough Helpers and Unsupportive Nursing Staff"
The helpers here are harsh and disrespectful, treating your family member like a beast. My mother is still here, but I'm trying to move her. Where to, though? Every place seems just the same. I've talked to the head nurse about helpers shouting at my mom or being crude and rough, but all she did was blame my mom. My mom, who hardly talks or walks.

"Communication Woes at Alto Stuart"
My family member lives at Alto Stuart. Before, I thought it was a five-star place. But now, I give it only two stars. The switchboard kept sending us to voicemail! My loved one, who is 102 years old, feels upset because there's no caring communication with her or our family.

"Facility staff friendly, but outdated; not hotel-like atmosphere; residents needy."
The people who worked at Stuart Lodge were really nice and told us a lot of helpful stuff. But the building is kinda old. The rooms seemed more like the ones in a nursing home, and we were hoping for a place that felt more like a hotel or an apartment. Also, the folks who live there seemed like they need a lot more care than my family member.

I visited this community, and it felt really nice. It’s a cozy, friendly place with a personal touch.

"A Wonderful Assisted Living Facility"
This place is awesome! It feels like home, and the staff is nice. The food is good, and they communicate well with families. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

"“Dim, Pricey, and Smelly: Assisted Living Review”"
The place was really dim. The salesperson was nice. But it cost a lot. And it smelled.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Tour Experience and Environment"
Our tour experience was bad. They didn't have a marketing director. Instead, they hired someone new to the job who wasn't there yet. We had to wait, and there was nowhere for my mom to sit, which was hard for her. The person who eventually showed us around was the activities director. She was nice, but the activities rooms were in odd spots, up the elevator and down the hall. They were dark, and the hallways were narrow. The carpet looked dirty, and the lighting was dim everywhere. The apartment itself was nice and bright, but the other rooms were dark and dull, even though they were clean. The dining room didn't impress me at all. Overall, I wasn't impressed with anything about the place.

"Assisted Living Shines, Memory Care Falls Short"
I wouldn’t want to place my loved one in the Memory Care unit, or anyone else for that matter. However, the assisted living unit is fantastic!

"Assisted Living Review: Stuart Lodge Living"
They do a really good job, especially considering what they have to work with. The staff are very quick to respond whenever we have a question or concern. They have been great at communicating and really make an effort. They could do a better job cleaning his bathroom. Also, they could include more vegetables on their menu. I would definitely recommend Stuart Lodge Living to others looking.
