"Mixed experience at assisted living facility; room for improvement noted"
Overall, it was just okay. We didn't see any serious neglect, but having only one overnight aid didn't seem enough because residents were often walking around. We spent a lot of time there, even late at night, and we hardly ever saw anyone checking on the beds, even though they were supposed to every two hours. We asked if they kept a record of these checks, but they said no. The facility was usually clean, and the front desk staff were always nice. Most of the aides were friendly, too, but sometimes they would just sit and watch TV when residents needed help, like changing dirty clothes. Often, we couldn't find staff when we needed them, only to discover them all hanging out in the break room. It would be better if they used plastic or melamine plates instead of easily breakable ceramic ones. They had activities scheduled, but they often didn't happen. The only one we saw was blowing up a balloon and batting it around until it fell, then just leaving it there.

"Good Care Amidst Management Change"
The nurses at the place are really good, but I can’t say the same for the folks running the show. Right now, they’re switching up who’s in charge, and with the whole covid situation, it’s tough to blame them for everything. They’ve always been on point with letting us know what’s up, and the person in charge is on top of things. They’re making sure everyone gets their shots, and they’ve been super with our family member, taking great care of her.

"Perfect place for Mom with great staff and friendly atmosphere"
Superior has been a great experience. Although it was hard to move my mom into assisted living, I think this place is perfect for her. She’s no longer alone with no one to talk to; she has friends and enjoys the activities. The staff is amazing, the place feels like home, and the residents get along well. I’m so happy we found Superior Residence. I know my mom is in good hands.

"Insufficient Care and Amenities in Assisted Living Facility"
Definitely not enough caregivers. Usually only one attendant at a time. Patients have problems in their rooms, and the caregivers need to assist them, leaving others unattended. I haven't noticed any activity in wing 3 during my visits on different days and times. No fresh fruit or snacks in this unit, and the beds aren't cleaned often enough. The nurses are nice.

"A Comfortable, Clean Home for Dad"
I've asked for updates from the staff but haven't gotten them as much as I want. My dad is safe and he's getting the care that he needs. I like that it isn't too flashy and feels more like a big house. It feels cozy and not too extravagant. It fits my dad's plain and simple personality. The place is clean and comfortable, which suits my dad best.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My friend's doing well in a nice place with good vibes. Overall, it's a great community, but there's one big issue. The head nurse struggles to communicate and get meds right. It's disappointing how little she seems to care about residents, and some staff act the same. But there's hope: Ellen, a new staff member, is awesome at following through. Now I have someone reliable to talk to.

"Good Place, But Nursing Director Could Improve"
My buddy is really happy here. The place is nice and the people are super friendly. But there’s a bit of a problem. The head nurse doesn’t really talk to me or do what the doctor says about medicine. It’s kind of a letdown because she doesn’t seem to care much about the folks living here, and it looks like other workers are starting to act the same. But hey, there’s this new person, Ellen, and she’s awesome. She gets things done and listens. I’ve got her number, so now I can reach out when I need to.

"Great Staff, But Couldn't Cater to Specific Medical Needs"
I think there was just some confusion, but I did explain that my mom had particular medical care requirements. Sadly, after trying out the place, we realized they legally couldn't meet these specific requests. Despite these problems, the place itself is really nice, clean, and the people there are awesome. They truly want to help out. I'd recommend this place as long as it's right for you.

"Great place for Dad!"
My dad has been at SR for a month now. Every visit has shown us care and helpfulness from everyone, from housekeeping to the Executive Director. Laverne at the front desk is always friendly and ready to help, even with all her duties and phone calls. We heard from two sources that this was a great place for Dad, and it truly is. We expected an adjustment period, but in just two weeks, Dad is joining activities and seems happy when we visit. I see many smiles from both the staff and residents.

"It's True, It Is a Good Place"

"Best place for quality care!"
The staff is very friendly and knows a lot. They treat everyone like family and do everything they can to make the stay more comfortable. From my first visit with Derek, I knew this was the best place for my mom. The facility is really clean. The staff is super helpful and goes out of their way to ensure my mom is well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.
