"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Expectations"
We're bummed about the services; they didn't match what they promised. We chose based on how nice it looked and what they told us, thinking it would be good for the resident.

"Issues with Conduct, Communication, and Training at a Care Facility"
I've observed staff at this assisted living place using bad language and dressing inappropriately, including the managers and care partners. They also show a lack of respect towards the people they're supposed to be taking care of. What's more, they seem understaffed - with only one nurse for every 60 residents. Several times, when I've tried to call management about these problems or about decent care for the people living there, no one picks up the phone. From what I've seen, the managers are poor at both communication and training their staff. I'm upset by how they fail to keep the family and their team informed properly. Just watching what goes on, I wouldn't advise anyone to work here or to let their loved ones live here. The medical technicians don't seem properly trained and I've noticed rough treatment of residents, particularly on the west side of the facility.

Our family really likes the people who work at Superior Residences of Niceville. They’re awesome and talk to us really well. Plus, the place is always neat and tidy.

"Mixed Experience: Great Facility, Disappointing Food"
I would recommend this place overall, except for the food. The meals that are supposed to be prepared by a chef are not good at all. My family member has been complaining about them every day, and they've lost 15 pounds in just three months because of it. We chose this community because it's very clean, the staff is friendly, it's centrally located, and it's affordable.

"Great Place, But Too Far Away"
After visiting Superior Residences of Niceville, I found it to be a really nice place. It was very clean, and the staff were super friendly. However, it was a bit too far away, so it wasn’t convenient for us.

"Heartbreak at Superior: False Promises and Neglect"
I wouldn't ever let my family stay at Superior again. They told me false stuff about what they could do and someone I care about got hurt. They handed me these so-called 'nurse's notes' that felt like a bad joke and seemed like they were written way after everything happened. They couldn't keep their story straight about what went down. Making the choice to put a loved one into a place like this is super tough, and it's absolutely gut-wrenching to find out they weren't looked after when they couldn't look after themselves.

"Upset Over Lack of Empathy During Mom's Hospitalization"
Really upset about the heartless approach taken when I was told of my mom's hospitalization during the Covid19 pandemic. It would've been great if management showed some empathy.

"Mixed Experience in Memory Care Section"
This place is close to my home, just about 5.2 miles away. I'm talking about the memory care section. The outside looks nice, but I couldn't sample a meal before moving my loved one here. Now I get why; the food isn't great. I've been to a few Medicaid-only facilities, and their meals are better. Sorting out my loved one's medication was a hassle. First, they took away her heating pad because there wasn't an order for it. Then, even after I got an order, they still haven't found the heating pad. I might have to bring in another one. The staff lacks discipline. They play their music loudly and gather together instead of checking on residents in their rooms. At least the place is clean. There's an activities chart on the wall, but every time I've visited, the only activity seems to be music and trying to get residents to sing along. The TV is always on.

"Great Place for Seniors!"
This place is really nice, and the staff gave us a good tour. They were patient and answered all our questions. There are lots of things for people who live there, so I think it's worth taking a tour.

"Fantastic Care and Happy with the Community"
The staff are taking great care of my loved one, even when she can be a bit challenging. The memory care team is wonderful, and everyone I've met is fantastic. They follow a daily routine for her, making sure she gets up, dressed, and her hair done, instead of just staying in bed. She's doing so much better now, and I feel confident she's in good hands. I'm really happy with the community, and she’s chatting with other residents and enjoying her time there.

"Highly Recommend This Wonderful Community"
My wife is doing great since she moved here. It’s a fantastic place, and I’m happy with her move. They take excellent care of her, and I feel she is safe. She enjoys the activities they offer and even goes on nice outings. The meals are excellent. I’m very pleased with everything they’ve done for us. I would recommend this community.

"Great Care and Fun Activities for My Husband"
My husband is doing great here. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even take trips outside for ice cream. He loves the dancing and staying active. I recommend this community, and it’s wonderful to see my husband happy here.

My mom lives in this lovely community. The staff takes excellent care of her, and I'm always well-informed about everything. They serve good food with plenty of variety, and there are activities for those who want to stay active. I'd recommend this community to others.
