Symphony at Delray Beach

"Positive experience at Symphony at Delray Beach assisted living facility."
We visited Symphony at Delray Beach to find an Assisted Living place for my loved one. The staff and residents were very friendly. Everything was clean. They had lots of activities, too. Also, the services and amenities are available regularly, not just by appointment, which was really good!

"Corporate Changes Cause Mixed Feelings"
This place is super nice, but there's a big problem. Right before we moved in, some corporate takeover happened. The person who showed us around and convinced us to move in suddenly left. Same day, the finance person and chef bailed too. The food isn't great, but housekeeping is on point. I can always talk to the Director about any issues. She's really helpful, especially dealing with my sometimes-difficult loved one. They should definitely hire a better chef. Overall, Symphony at Delray Beach is just like any other place – good and bad. But for my loved one, it's the best spot.

"Clean and Friendly Place, Highly Recommended"
My loved one lives at Symphony at Delray Beach. This place is really clean. The staff are super friendly. I haven't tried the food, so I'm not sure about that. Overall, I would tell family and friends to choose this place.

"Lackluster Activities and Staff Turnover at Assisted Living Facility"
The rooms were nice, but there wasn't much to do, and the staff changed a lot, which seemed worrying.

"Poor Treatment and Missing Items Cloud Good Food and Medical Care"
This place seems nice and has good food, but it's really a nightmare inside. My mom stayed there for 3 weeks, but we had to move her. She had lots of grab marks and they even left her in her room in a wheelchair that wasn't locked. The staff always seems in a hurry. When we moved her out, we noticed some things were missing, including her DVD player. I seriously hope they fix these problems. At least the medical care is good.

"A Clean, Joyful Assisted Living Facility"
It's a lovely, spotless place with nice apartments and friendly spaces. When you step in, it feels joyful. Everything runs smoothly, but sadly, my dad's health declined too quickly for him to fully enjoy their services.

"Assisted Living Facility Review Summary: Good but Needs Improvements"
I recommend this community for loved ones. More meal choices needed. Residents need more activity options, especially post-dinner. Staff communication could improve; emails often go unanswered. Monthly fee covers apartment, utilities, housekeeping, and meals. Overall, a nice place for loved ones.

"Poor Service and Lack of Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom just moved into Symphony of Delray Beach and we're having serious problems and getting no responses to our questions! The person who sold us on the place, was fun to talk to and always helped out - that’s why we picked this place. But then she got fired and we were stuck with , who was the Director. She didn’t help us at all and was let go a week later. I heard that someone from the main office is now in charge, but I can't even get her name. I was told she'd be in on Wednesday. I requested the main office's phone number, but nobody knows or will tell me. They transferred my call to Human Resources and the phone just rang. When someone finally picked up, they hung up right away! The staff doesn't seem to understand that they are taking care of older folks who require a lot of patience. They don't seem to have any patience to offer. The only positive thing is that my mom likes the food here. I wouldn't tell anyone to send a loved one here. I'm planning to move my mom out as soon as I can!

"Great food and activities, but need family dining time"
I wish I could sit with my loved one during meal times in the dining room. The food is amazing, and the chef is awesome! There’s a weekly schedule of activities for the residents to pick from.

"Review: Assisted Living Facility Short-Staffed, Lacking Basic Care"
This assisted living facility doesn't have enough staff. They let residents with serious mental problems stay there, who keep screaming and shouting, which disturbs everyone else. The staff ignores stuff that would make residents' lives better, like keeping their nails neat and clean, letting families know if they need new clothes, or keeping the bathrooms tidy. Unopened new clothing gets tossed into the laundry. They're dishonest with their residents, even when residents are sharp enough to know they're not being told the truth. It saddens and annoys the residents. They don't let residents walk around, causing them to lose their physical abilities fast and forcing them to use wheelchairs. Some staff members are nice, but a lot aren't.

"Lacking Care, Friendliness, and Misplacing Items: Mediocre Assisted Living"
This place is just okay. The care isn't the best, and the staff isn't very nice to families and residents. They keep losing our loved one's hearing aids. They offer movies, exercise, and puzzles for residents.

"Welcoming Atmosphere and Clean Facilities in Symphony at Delray"
Symphony at Delray is a newer community with very friendly staff. Due to COVID, they sometimes struggle to give our loved one his medicine on time, but it's not their fault. When we could visit, the place was spotless, and our loved one loves his room. It's big, and the bathroom is huge and accessible with wheelchairs and lots of handrails for safety. Our loved one has joined in a few activities. We liked how all the residents enjoy being together, creating a close-knit community.
